"Okay, I've got two minutes to start my edits. I need to get my drafts sent if I can stop puking." Malani Patterson said to herself.
She left her bathroom, made her self some ginger tea and sat at her desk. She kept checking her timer on her Apple watch as she typed what edits she needed to fix. She was so engrossed in editing she jumped when her timer went off.
She went into the bathroom, and smiled when she saw that she was in fact pregnant.
"Jax is going to be so excited!" She said as she thought about her husband.
She hid the pee stick in her desk, and went back to working on her book. She met her deadline with her publishers. She hit send just as she heard Jax pull in.
