Three weeks later,
Bucky and Malani made their debut at the PTSD and OCD awareness charity gala, thrown by Sam's family.
"About damn time.." James said as he checked his watch.
Bucky and Malani made their way down the stairs, her family and Jax's family seen her.
"Is that Mal?" Caroline said
"She is with him?" Jax said
Bucky introduced her to all of his colleagues as his fiancee after he got their drinks. Sam had the DJ play "Sensitivity" by Ralph Tresvant. Bucky glared at Sam as he led her on the dance floor.
"I'm gonna kill Sam.." he said
"Why? I love this song." She said
"I was labeled a sweetheart in college, so Sam says this is my song." He said as Jax and their families catch the big sparkler on her finger.
"Oh my god, she's engaged." Jax said
"She looks happy " David said
They also danced to Cheers2U and Ultraviolet, they took a break and joined his family. The Mcallisters and Pattersons came over to them.
"Malani.." Caroline said
She and Bucky turned around, "Can I help you?" She said
"Where have you been? We found out a few weeks ago that Jenae and Deja set up the whole thing. We know the truth." David said
"I've been with my fiancee and our son, and my family." She said
"Honey..we are your family " Caroline said
"No, family doesn't turn their backs on each other. They are my family not you! And what the hell do you want Jax? Come to beg for a second chance that ain't happening. Come on mom Ill go with you to the ladies room while dad and James refill our drinks." Malani said as she and Winnie walk off.
When they returned, Bucky had the DJ play "Wicked Game." By Chris Isaak. He was kissing on her and making Jax jealous as hell.
