Malani's book series had all hit NY's Best Seller's List and Buck is the #1 Forbes Business/Finance CEO. Winnie and James wanted to celebrate their accomplishments so they set up a private party that was invitation only. The next day the news about Buck and Malani and their party made headlines.
"IT APPEARS THAT NY'S HOTTEST COUPLE HAS DOMINATED THE BUSINESS AND WRITING WORLD"
So much so that Malani's family were over at her parents' house and saw it all on the news. Of course they felt terrible for disowning her, but now she's become one of the richest authors in the country and internationally. So they felt guilty and dumb for not being supportive.
"We all didn't encourage her, even me and I was her husband." Jax said
"Yeah but we are her parents. We should of been instead putting her down, she proved me wrong." David said
