Number One Chef In The Intergalactic Era

Chapter 32

The morning sun shines and announces the beginning of another day. Dazzling the world with it's light. The huge green planet with a mixture of different colors shines with all its glory. The birds and other similar creatures chirps, telling the people of this planet to wake up and start their new day.

Bella is particularly happy today. The day can never be more beautiful than today. She is so happy that the smile didn't leave her face all day. She has been smiling from the moment she woke up. Her parents are almost dazzled by her smile. They couldn't help but wonder what could have happened to make their daughter so happy.

Not only Bella's parents, even the people of the facility couldn't help but mesmerized by her smile. She was so beautiful that they are almost blinded by her smile. Even Chloe was dumbstruck by her. Her beautiful friend is even more beautiful today!

"Why are you so happy?" Chloe couldn't help but ask her once they are seated on the bench in the garden. Today she doesn't have any errands to run but has some paperwork to do. But they aren't that important so she is planning to finish them later. She got some time free and she is going to spend it with her pretty friend.

"Is it so obvious?" Bella asks in a surprised tone. There's a reason why she is happy. But she didn't know that it was showing on her face so much that other people could also tell. But why is she so happy?Is it because today she has cooked some lavish dishes? Nope. Is it because she is also going to make some dessert for her family? Maybe.

But the main reason she is so happy because her brother is coming! Yes! Her brother Blake is coming!

She was talking with her brothers yesterday night as usual. That's when Blake told her that he is coming to see her. He said that he misses her a lot so he has taken some days off to see her. Actually, he hasn't taken any days off. He just pushed all his work to poor Berson who was already drowned in work. Berson also wanted to come but he couldn't just leave his work like Blake. He isn't that unreasonable like him. If both of them leaves their work then the other employees of their institution would stop working which he doesn't want. Blake knew this. So he was brave enough to dump his work on him and come to see Bella. But he isn't stupid enough to let this information out to his sister. Wouldn't her caring brother facade collapse then? The helpless Berson can only curse and do the works.

The other two brothers also wanted to come but they had so many days off already when she was with them. Their respective workplace would never give them days off again untill any holiday comes. So they could only mourn and tell their grievance.

Bella was obviously disappointed. She also wanted all her brothers to see. She misses them a lot too. Granted she can see them everyday through video conference but she still misses their familiar embrace. She wants to cuddle with her brothers like before and spend the day happily, talking and laughing. But soon she comforts herself. She has already inconvenienced her brothers before. Because of her they had to take days off everyday for a few hours which obviously hindered their works. She won't be selfish to tell them to come and see her while throwing their works away; no matter how much she misses them.

Though none of her brothers are coming, except Blake and she has also cooked lavish meal for him, it doesn't mean her other brothers won't be able to eat them. She has already packed their meal and sent them to the teleportation center. The only thing she couldn't send is the dessert. She didn't make them and is thinking of making them a while later. She has just finished her cooking and is feeling very tired. So she has come to the garden to have some rest as well as some fresh air. She will go and start making dessert after resting for a while.

Bella was a famous chef who was not only good at different cuisine but she was good at dessert too. Though her dessert might not be as excellent as those pastry chefs, they weren't bad either. At least, they are better than ordinary people. So, she is confident in her dessert making and knows that they won't turn out that bad. Worst would be they wouldn't be much delicious but still edible.
