"Ta-da!"

"Oh my!"

Beth couldn't help but gasp at the site of a table full of dishes. She has been curious when her daughter didn't come out of her room at morning. She had a hunch that she has been cooking, and whatever she is cooking must be time consuming. So she didn't disturb her daughter and went to her work. Never had she ever thought that her daughter has cooked so many dishes.

Bella presents her creation to her mom and her brother with a enthusiastic smile. Everything that she has cooked, from meat to fish to vegetables, all are arranged beautifully around the table.She wanted to surprise her parents as well as her brother so she didn't tell them what she has cooked or when she has done the job. She wanted to see the expression of their faces after seeing the foods. And she has to say, she is happy at their response.

"Oh darling." Beth whispers as he maker her way to her daughter. Seeing her mom coming to her, Bella thought that she would say something along the lines 'when did you cooked them' or ' I am so surprised'. But she sees her mom looking at her in distress and asks "Why did you cook so much? Are you tired? Are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere?"

"Mom I'm fine." Bella replies helplessly. She knows her mother's worries but she can't do anything about it. She can only inwardly sigh at her mom's distress expression.

"You shouldn't have pushed yourself so far." Blake, who has been quite since seeing the table full of dishes opens his mouth and says. He knows why her sister worked so hard and it would be a lie if he says he isn't happy. He is not only happy, he is overjoyed. His beloved sister cooked so many dishes only for him even knowing that her body is weak. Granted that her parents will also be eating them but still.... didn't she cook them with the thought of him? Just thinking about it is enough to make his heart overflow with joy.

But after listening his mom's questioning, Blake's joy disappears slightly. He is happy that his sister did something for him but it made her tired. He doesn't want to let her feel even a slightest bit of discomfort let alone tired. He doesn't want his precious sister to work so hard to please him or his family. Her presents is enough to please him.

"But I.... I wanted to surprise you." Bella says hesitantly. She can see that both her mom and brother is distress for her. She did it because she wanted to see them happy not sad.

"I know." Blake says as he hugs her, almost taking her off of the floor to his arms. "Thank you. I'm happy that you did it."

"You welcome." Bella replies as she nuzzles on her brother's arm. She has missed his hug so much.

" But...." Blake says as he releases her. "You are not allowed to do it again in the future. I don't want you to feel any discomfort. Besides, cooking is not only tedious but dangerous too. What if something happens to you when someone isn't with you? So you aren't allowed to cook alone so many dishes, understand?"

Blake's says with a stern voice. He didn't, doesn't want to be hard on her but he had to. He wants her to lead her days happily without any pressure. Besides, the reason he forbid her to cook such lavish meal because of his selfishness. He doesn't want her to cook for someone especially like she did for him. He knows that if he doesn't stop her now, then she would do the same thing when his other brothers comes to see her. He is strongly against the idea. So he stopped this thought of her before it could bloom.

"Fine." Bella reluctantly agrees. She wanted to argue back but seeing the look of her brother, who never even talk to her loudly let alone scold her, she yields to his decision. Forget it, they must be worried for her. Let her become stronger. Then they won't stop her again.

"Good." Blake rubs his sister's head with a pleased expression on his face. He is happy that his sister once again listen to him.

"Okay! Okay!" Bella slips away from her brother's rubbing and says "Let's eat! Let's eat! I want you to taste them and say how's they have been made. Sit!"
