Chapter Twenty Seven

Genevieve’s P.O.V
After seeing Voldemort disappear I spoke up, “where did he go” I asked as I looked around until I heard him begin to choke on his breath and soon both Dumbledore and I had turned around to see what was going on as Harry soon fell to the floor, “what’s Happening to him” I asked as I looked at Harry, “it’s Voldemort” he answered as he soon knelt in front of Harry and I had soon done the same, “Harry you have to Fight him, you’re stronger than he is, you always have been” I tried to say as my worry began to grow, “you’ve lost old man and you might never see your friend again little girl.” he said as he groaned in pain and I felt a tear slip down my cheek, “Harry” Dumbledore whispered, “Harry, Genevieve is right and it isn’t how you are alike. It’s how you are not. Harry?” Dumbledore said, “Harry please,” I whispered, on the verge of crying, “you’re the weak one, and you’ll never know love or friendship. And I feel sorry for you” Harry said and I sighed a little knowing he was talking to Voldemort until he soon appeared again, “you’re a fool, Harry Potter. And you will lose everything.” he told Harry until we began to hear a few people arrive and I turned to see that it was the Minister along with a few others before Voldemort soon disappeared, “do you believe us now Minister” I shouted out of anger and he said nothing until he decided to speak up, “I-I don’t know what to say.” he began to say, “save it, Harry tried telling you the truth about him, not just him but, dumbledore and I as well along with everyone who would believe us and yet you deny it all and pinned it all on Sirius Black and told everyone else lies that followed and look how that turned out, Harry was almost killed because you didn’t want to believe any of us, because you didn't want to believe the truth” I said shouting until I felt someone rest their hand on my shoulder and I turned to see that it was Hermione, “now I’m worried about everyone else who trusted you would think of how you are planning on handling this and I wouldn’t be surprised if you are told to resign” I spoke up again and he was speechless for a bit until he spoke up, “you’re right, and they would have every reason to be upset with me when they find out the truth and I am so terribly sorry that I didn’t believe you, any of you from the beginning.” he said not just to me but to everyone and I went to see how Harry was doing and made sure he was alright, “How are you feeling” I asked as I helped him up, “I don’t know” he answered as it looked like he was thinking, “just know everyone is here for you alright” I told him and he nodded and the Daily rProphet soon arrived and started taking pictures.

After making sure Harry was alright, I soon went to look for Remus to see how he was doing and soon found him standing where the others had come from and I smiled a little as I walked up to him, “How are you feeling” I asked as I gently rubbed some dirt from his cheek, “I’m alright. How are you, are you hurt” he asked with worry in his voice, “I’m alright see, not a scratch” I said to him and he smiled a little and gently kissed my forehead before resting his forehead against mine, “we should leave with the others” I mentioned and he nodded and we soon left the Ministry with the others. As we walked out I soon saw Aunt Minerva standing there and when she saw me, she rushed over and hugged me tightly, “oh dear, are you alright, are you hurt, are any of you hurt” she asked as she looked at me in a frantic, “I’m fine Auntie, we all are” I said with a small smile and she hugged me again and we soon headed back to the Castle and just before I went to catch up with them, I stayed with Remus for a quick second, “I’ll see you soon” I said with a small smile, “goodbye My love, for now” he said with a small smile and I kissed him gently, “goodbye my darling” I whispered to him and waved goodbye as I caught up with the others. By the time we finally got back, most of us had gone to the Hospital Wing to get checked up on and I went to see how Harry was doing, “How are you doing” I asked as I sat next to him on the Hospital bed and he shrugged, “could be better I guess” he said and I sighed a little, “at least the Ministry knows now that we weren’t lying and that was probably the only good thing that came out of this” I told him and he nodded, “you’re right, at least people will know now that he’s back” he said and I smiled a little, “and Sirius will be with your parents watching over you” I told him and he looked at me, “you really think so” he said and I nodded, “I know so” I told him  and when we were done in the Hospital Wing, Neville, Ginny and Luna had left ahead of Harry, Ron, Hermione and I as the four of us walked together and talked about what might happen now that everyone will finally know the Truth, “so what do you guys think will happen now” I asked, “not sure, but I’m just glad that people know about You-Know-Who” Hermione said, “she’s right and when they do, most of them would probably want to fight” Ron said and Harry just stayed quiet as we now made it to the common room, “you know, now that I think about it, we should have a funeral for Sirius, at least do something for him” I suggested and Ron and Hermione nodded, “you think so” Harry asked and I nodded, “ya that doesn’t sound like a bad Idea” Ron said and I smiled a little, “ya we should, I mean I think it’s the least we could do for him so he’s not forgotten” I said and they all agreed and decided to tell the others about it when school is over.

After talking for a bit, I decided to get some clothes to change into before heading to the bathrooms to take a shower and for most of the time I just stood under the water for a while before doing anything else. By the time I was done, I had gotten dress and headed back to my shared Dorm to soon see Ginny was already asleep and Hermione reading a book and I soon brushed out my hair before getting into bed and doing the same thing until Hermione soon spoke up in a whisper, “what do you think will happen now” she asked and I shrugged my shoulders a little, “I’m not sure, but if something does happen, I don’t think it would be good. My guess is that Voldemort would want a fight at some point” I told her and she thought about, “that could be a possibility but if it comes to that, I’m sure we’ll be ready for when it comes’ she said sounding determined and I smiled a little at her confidence, “I hope so” I said lightly as I thought about what it would be like if it did come to that and the only thing I cared about was Remu, Aunt Minerva and the others as I hoped none of us would die during any of this and I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard Hermione again, “we should go to sleep now, it’s getting late” she said and I put my book down nearby after putting the book mark in and just laid on my back after turning off the light and just stared up at the ceiling thinking about everything that had just happened today until I had finally fallen asleep later that night. It was the next day and as I walked to the Great Hall I felt like I haven’t slept at all and I soon sat with George and Fred, “what got you all slouchy” Fred said and I sighed, “I felt like I haven’t slept at all last night after what happened” I told them, “what did happen yesterday” George asked, “ya, we heard Ron and the others whispering to each other” Fred mentioned, “well whatever you heard from them about yesterday is true, we fought some Death Eater’s, Dumbledore fought with Voldemort and what not” I told them as I read the Daily Prophet and saw a few things about what Voldemort and about The Minister having to resign and there was also an article about Professor Umbridge or should I say Ex-Professor now and I chuckled to myself about it as I was glad she was gone now, “what are you laughing about I heard Fred say, “oh I was just reading about what happened to Umbridge and I’m glad she’s gone” I told him as I continued to look at the paper, “I can’t believe we had to deal with her for a whole year” George spoke up and I sighed, “I know, especially what she had done to us with the Quill thing, I think I might have scars from tht for the rest of my life” I said with a chuckle and we continued to eat our breakfast before headed to our first class of the day.

Classes were now over for the day and I thought about how tomorrow was the day that Fred, George and I would be Graduating and would be at Hogwarts for the last time and after I had finished packing my things, I had decided to look for Harry to see how he was doing and soon found him as Luna skipped away as she had a few papers in her hand, “hey Luna, what with the papers” I asked confused, “oh, I’m missing a few of my things and since it’s the last day, I really need them back so I made a list of what’s missing” she said, “oh well I hope you find them” I said and she smiled and skipped away and I chuckled a little and I soon walked up to Harry, “hey how are you feeling” I asked as I stood next to him, “I’m alright I guess” he answered and I sighed a little, “I don’t blame you if that was pretty much a cover up about how you really feel. I’d feel the same way if I was in your shoes, but at least you have something Voldemort doesn’t. Family, Friends, pretty much anyone who cares about you” I said to him and he nodded and smiled a little, “thanks Genny, I really appreciate it and I’m going to miss you, Fred and George when the three of you aren’t here anymore” he said and I chuckled, “I kinda forgot about that. But anyways, we should head to the Great Hall before the feast is over” I said giggling and we had ate and hung out with everyone we knew and had a few laughs every once and a while until dinner was over and we all had headed back to the Common Room for the night and continued to hang out for a while longer until some of them had decided to go to bed for the night except for the Trio, Fred, George, Ginny and I had stayed downstairs as we talked amongst ourselves, “so Fred and George, what are you guys doing after you Graduate” Harry asked, “we were thinking about opening our own joke shop” George answered him, “where are you thinking of opening the store” Hermione asked, “we were thinking Diagon Alley” Fred answered her, “and I might help them out with it over the summer at some point” I said and the Twins smiled and we just continued to talk for a while longer before we all decided to head to bed for the night.
