Chapter Forty Six

Genevieve’s P.O.V
I was just now over Nine Months pregnant and it is now in the middle of March and I was about ready to pop any day or more like any minute at this point. As I was spending sometime in the Kitchen making lunch for both Remus and I, I began to feel pain in my stomach until I felt something sliding down my legs and noticed that my water had broke, “REMUS” I shout and he rushed over to me, “what, what is it” he asked worriedly, “I think the babies are coming” I said as he rushed back into the other room and came back with the baby bag and took the Floo Network to St. Mungos, “good afternoon, what are you in for” the lady at the desk asked, “uh, my wife is going into labour” Remus told her as she had gotten a few other Healers to help as we soon made it to a room as they helped me with everything before they had me start pushing. After several hours and many pushes later, I had finally given birth to the Twins as it was both a boy and a girl, “what should we name them” I asked as I looked at our son lovingly, “how about Lily Minerva Lupin for this little one over here” he mentioned and I smiled as I looked to see him looking at her with love and adoration, “I like that. Then how about Sirius Lyall James Lupin for this little guy” I said and he looked up from our daughter to face me with a small smiled on his face, “I really like that” he said with a smile on his face, “I thought about naming them after someone close to you before even knowing it was a boy and I did the same with Lily, I knew you were friends with her also so I thought why not” I said to him as I looked back down at Sirius as I gently caressed his cheek. After some time had gone by, the four of us were able to leave the Hospital and head home and when we did that and finally made it home, all we did was spend our time with the babies throughout the day knowing that the both of us won’t get much sleep for a while.

After putting the twins in their crib, I had decided to write to Aunt Minerva to tell her about the birth of the twins and by the time I had finished writing the letter and sending it off with Snow, I had gone back into the living room and sat next to Remus on the couch, “How are you doing love” he asked as he put down the book that he had in his hand, “I’m alright, how about you” I said, “happy knowing that they don’t have what I have” he said as I planted a kiss on his cheek, “I’m glad you’re happy” I said to him with a small smile on my face, “I love you” I said, “and I love you my darling” he said, “I was thinking of making someone the godparents of the twins” Remus said, “who did you have in mind” I asked as he thought about it, “how about Harry as his Godfather” he said and I nodded before thinking of someone, “how about Fred or George, they would love them” I said as the both of us chuckled, “yeah I bet they would, that’s not a bad Idea” he said and I smiled, “how about George” he spoke up again and I nodded, “alright” I said to him and we were soon interrupted by the sound of the Twins crying at the top of their lungs and the both of us got off the couch and went to check on them and soon changed their diapers before feeding the both of them.

It has been about a day or so since the birth of the Twins as I had heard a knock on the door and opened it to see that it was Aunt Minerva as I hugged her, “hello dear I got your letter, how are you feeling” she asked me as I let her in the house, “I’ve been doing alright, how about you, how about the students” I said as we both sat down on the couch, “I’m fine but it’s gotten worse at Hogwarts, the punishments are getting to sevier” she said and I sighed, “bloody hell I wish I could do something, especially to Severus for doing such a thing as to hire them in the first place” I said before Aunt Minerva held my hands, “I know dear and you’re not the only one who thinks so. Now let's change the topic, where are those babies of yours” she said and I smile a little and went to get them and brought them to the living room, “oh look at these beauties” she said as I handed her Lily, “what are their names, “the one that you’re holding is named Lily Minerva Lupin, her middle name is after you Auntie” I told her as it looked like she was tearing up, “and this one is Sirius Lyal James Lupin” I told her as she looked at him, “oh they are just precious little things. They’re beautiful dear” she said and we talked for a little bit before she had to head back to Hogwarts and not long after she had left I had put the Twins back in their crib after changing them and feeding them and went back into the living room and waited for Remus to come back from the store but during that time, I began to hear noises coming from outside and I made sure that the windows in the bedroom that the twins were in were locked before standing in between the door of the bedroom as the front door was blown off its hinges and I quickly grabbed my wand and casted a few spells and they had done the same before I blacked out.
