Chapter Forty Two

Genevieve’s P.O.V
The Summer Holiday was almost over and like the year before, and as I was getting everything ready I began to feel the worry grow and I soon stopped packing and sat down on the bed to think. After sometime of thinking, I heard a knock on the bedroom door and looked to see that it was Remus as he leaned against the door frame and I smiled a little as he walked up and sat down next to me on the bed, “how are you feeling Darling” he asked as I rested my head on his shoulder, “oh nothing, just worried that’s all” I said as I let out a heavy sigh, “you know you don’t have to go back if you don’t feel like it or if you don’t feel safe to do so, I’m sure your Aunt will understand” he said and I just nodded, “I know, but I have a feeling that I have to” I said as I kissed his cheek, “alright then if you do go back, promise to right to me as often as you can so I know that you’re alright” he said I nodded and kissed him gently, “I love you” I said as our foreheads rested against each other, “I love you to my love” he said before we kissed again and before we had gotten any further we broke away from the kiss, “as much as I want to continue, I gotta finish packing” I said to him with a small smile on my face, “I know, I know I’m going to miss you though and promise me that you’ll be safe” he said and I nodded, “I promise as long as you do the same and let me know how you’re doing before and after the full moons alright and I’ll probably be able to come home when I’m farther along alright” I said and he nodded as I finished up with packing everything with his help. By the time I had finished packing everything that I needed, Remus had helped me bring everything to the living room since I had decided to take the Floo Network and before I left I walked up to Remus and hugged him, “I’m gonna miss you” I said to him as I felt him kiss the top of my head, “I’ll miss you to my love” he said before I looked up at him and gave him one last passionate kiss before breaking away from it and just looking at him, “I love you and all, but you should get going Darling before your Aunt begins to wonder where you are” he said and I chuckled a little, “alright I guess you’re right. I’ll see you soon alright” I said and he nodded, “see you soon love” he said before I soon left for Hogwarts. 

By the time I made it to Hogwarts the day before the Students were to arrive and headed to see if Aunt Minerva was here and before I had gotten any further, I had noticed that she had gotten here just after I had and the both of us soon hugged each other, “hello dear, I’m so happy to see you. How are you dear” she said as we began to walk, “I’ve been better but other than that not to bad” I said to her as we soon made it to the hall with all of the teachers and staff’s Quarters, “well it’s good to hear that you’re doing alright and how about Remus, is he doing well” she said and I nodded, “he’s doing good as well. I just hope he’ll be alright when I’m gone” I said as I thought about him, “don’t worry dear I’m sure that he’ll be alright on his own, he has been before a while before he met you” she told me and I knew she was right, “I guess you’re right, anyways I’m assuming I have the same room as last year” I said and she nodded, “yes you do and  dinner will be brought to you as well later tonight as well alright and before you get shocked about this, I want you to know that Professor Snape is now Headmaster and has Hired a few Death Eaters as Professor’s” she said as she whispered the rest to me, “wait what, I didn’t see any Death Eater’s around” I whispered to her as the both of us walked into my room to talk about it more, “I know dear it’s a lot to take in considering what he had done to Professor Dumbledore before the summer,but there isn’t much that we can do about it now dear” she said and I nodded, “yeah I guess you’re right” I said with a sigh, “well I’ll see you later alright and we can more about it then if you’d like” she said and I nodded, “alright I’ll see you later” I said before we hugged each other and she walked out of the room. Not long after I had begun to think about writing to Harry about what Aunt Minerva had just told me about Snape and so I did after I had made up my mind after considering the risks of writing one, especially to him as it might lead someone the find out where he was but I considered that himself, Ron and Hermione would want to know incase they ever considered coming back at some point in the near future and by the time I had finished writing the letter, I soon sent it with my Owl in hopes that it gets to Harry in time without having to be inspected at all.
