Willow loved watching the Cullen's play baseball. It was exciting and unlike anything she had ever seen. She was sitting in the back of the Jeep wrapped up in her coat in a blanket beside Bella.
"Red, call it in the air!" Emmett yelled from the makeshift home plate no less than five feet away from the girls.
"Tails!" Willow yelled back with her gloved covered hands cupped around her mouth. Esme flipped the quarter and caught it.
"Yes!" Emmett roared. "Suck it!" He flipped Jasper off as he ran for the field.
"Emmett!" Esme scolded.
"Have you watched them do this before?" Bella asked as the game prepared to start.
"A lot." Willow smiled at her cousin. "You're going to like this."
"It's time." Alice proclaimed just as thunder echoed in the valley. Rosalie stepped up to the plate and on the first pitch knocked it out of the park.
"Wow. Now I see why you need the thunder." Bella spoke with astonishment. "That's gotta be a home run right?"
"I don't know. Edwards pretty fast." Willow shrugged as she watched the blur of Rosalie run around the bases. Just as she headed home Edward threw the ball to Esme and Carlisle called her out.
"Woah, this is crazy." Bella proclaimed with excitement, basically bouncing out of her seat. Jasper was in front of them in a flash in his three quarter baseball tee shirt and his blonde hair pulled back in a bun sticking out of his ball hat.
"A kiss for good luck." Jasper smirked.
"Always." Willow pressed her lips softly against his.
"Gross! PDA!" Emmett screamed across the field. When Jasper pulled away he gave Emmett the bird before he went up to bat.
"Jasper." Esme scolded with an annoyed expression.
"You guys are cute." Bella stated after Jasper hit the ball. "How long is it going to go on?"
"18 innings at least." Willow explained as Carlisle took his turn to bat and was safe at second while Emmett and Edward rolled on the ground.
"This is better than regular baseball." Bella's smile spread on her face as Rosalie hit another long ball. Willow noticed the change on Alice's face, her features falling and her eyes becoming distant.
"Somethings wrong." Willow tossed back her blanket and jumped down from the Jeep and Bella followed
"Stop!" Alice yelled out and everyone halted in their tracks for a moment before they raced toward Willow and Bella.
