I have no idea how deep your degree has to get for you to get to such a state. I can still see without my glasses/spectacles so I am just going to exaggerate things.

Scarlett POV
I looked at the time, 9.30am. It should be late enough to wake my girlfriend up. I know, she's already an adult, but she still needs someone to wake her up. I was going up to wake Y/N when I saw her kneeling on the ground. "What are you doing?" I walked towards her.

"Wait wait!"

Crack!

I looked down at my feet and saw her glasses which I stepped on. "Please don't tell me you broke my glasses." Her hands were still feeling around.

I tried so hard not to laugh at her actions and the state she's in. "I may... or may not have done so..."

"Scarlett!!!! How am I supposed to see without my glasses?" If only she could look at how funny she is right now. "It's not funny, I may not be able to see but I can still hear you laughing!"

Your POV
I could just imagine her laughing at me. It's not funny, I could barely see anything, everything was a blur and I could only make out the outline of Scarlett if I squinted my eyes. It's going to be a long few days until I get my new glasses.

"Are you going to help me or what?" I was still seated on the ground.

"Here..." I could only assume Scarlett stretched out her hand for me, but I kept grabbing empty air when I tried to find her hand. She ended up grabbing my hand and helping me up instead. When we got to the stairs, I was scared shit. I was holding on to the railings for my dear life.

"I'm here, you don't have to be scared."

"I can't help it!" After using my sight for all my years. It was scary to lose it all of a sudden.

"By the time you get down at this rate it's going to be noon!" As soon as Scarlett finished speaking, she scooped me up and I squealed, wrapping my arms around her neck.

"We are on the ground now." Scarlett placed me on the ground carefully. I felt like a lost dog with a leash, when Scarlett guided me to the kitchen. "We are going to have to bring you to the optometrist." She said while we were having our breakfast.

"You're lucky I'm on leave this week." I said while taking a bite of my sandwich.

It was also an experience going out without my glasses, I walked centimeter by centimeter, clinging onto Scarlett, reminding her not to let go of me. Lucky for me, I was blind like a bat, I can't see anyone's judgement, I was too busy figuring out where I was stepping, making sure I didn't fall flat on my face. The optometrist said the earliest I could get my new glasses was the next day, so we had to wait. I took this chance to get a second pair just in case something like this happened again I wouldn't be helpless.

I'm sure it was tiring for Scarlett to have to guide me everywhere, not leaving me alone for a second but I was just as tired, mentally. It wasn't really good for me with my vision being so blurry, I don't know if it was just my sight or I was dizzy. It was very nauseating, seeing everything in a blur.

"It's so boring... I can't do anything. I can't even use my phone, watch a movie or look at your beautiful face..." I slumped on the couch. Scarlett lifted my head and placed it on her lap. "You can't see me, but you can still feel my presence." She stroked my head.

"But it would be better with visuals." I whined.

"I know. But it's just for a day. I can go and collect your glasses tomorrow."

"Yeah, otherwise you're stuck with guiding me everywhere."

"I don't mind."

"Really? It'll get tiring after a while."

"I wouldn't dream of leaving you."
