Interior wise of the Rosecove gym went like this: Several pipes ran across the ceiling and they lead down to what would seem to be several gaping holes in the floor, on each patch of ground, was a trainer, and then there was a pipe, the pipe lead to the hole, so on and so fourth, it kept going like this until the unmistakable figure of Quentin could be spotted at the end. Play stepped forward, and a vest and shorts wearing man strolled up to him.

"Yo, you gotta like, battle me, to get past me dude." He droned. "Arrokuda, GO!" Knowing immediately the odds were not in this guy's favour, Play sent out Flaafy.

"Use cotton spore." He said.

"Aqua jet." The trainer cried in his thick accent. Arrokuda beat Flaafy to it and slammed into it with a jet of water, Flaafy shook off the attack and sent numerous pieces of it cotton flying into Arrokuda, which stopped it.

"Now electro ball!" Play commanded. Flaafy jumped into the air, summersaulted, and sent a ball of electricity at the rush Pokémon. Arrokuda was trapped in place, the electricity hit it, and the cotton conducted the power. There was a mini explosion. When the dust cleared, Arrokuda was knocked out. The trainer's jaw dropped open. Now, what Play had to do, was turn the wheel, which caused the floodgates to open, and water filled the hole, and several crates would rise in level, so Play could hop across. It was tricky, but worth it.

Soon enough, Play had defeated all the trainers, healed up right before the last podium, and Quentin was there, ready to face him.

"Hello, young trainer." Quentin spoke, slightly muffled by his mouth covering. "I understand our previous meet up was brief, but I never got to thank you for running team Eclipse out of the city, or should I say beach!" Quentin winked with a warm smile.

"Oh, it was no problem." Play said, feeling his cheeks glow. This was the second gym leader that had thanked him for the team Eclipse business. "I mean, someone had to do it right."

"Anyways, I'm sure you are here now to test your strength and earn a badge." Quentin said, with a nod. I must warn you, my specialty is Water-type Pokemon. Water-type Pokemon are said to be some of the oldest living species on the planet. They've had millions of years to evolve into battling machines." This was true, most fossils Pokémon were indeed water types, and it had't been too hard to figure his specialty, from living near a beach, and his trust put in his Huntail, a' pure water type.

"None of that matters." Play exclaimed, reaching for a Pokéball. "I came here for one thing, and one thing only."

"I admire your confidence, child." Quentin said, his blue eyes gleaming. "You must be strong to have beaten all of those Team Eclipse members, but are you strong enough to take on the Rosecove City Gym Leader? Let's find out now, shall we?" With that, Quentin grabbed one of his Pokéballs in a flash, backed up to reveal the extended battlefield that shot out.

"Things are getting serious." Play thought, should he be worried?

"Go Clawitzer!" Quentin cried.

"Go Ralts." Play yelled. "Let's try out your new move."

Clawitzer, the howitzer Pokemon, Their enormous claws launch cannonballs of water powerful enough to pierce tanker hulls. An by expelling water from the nozzle in the back of its claw, it can move at a speed of 60 knots. It also sucks up the water it finds and shoots it back out as ammunition.

"A bold choice." Quentin murmured. "Clawitzer, USE Dark pulse." Clawitzer shot a beam of dark energy out of it's huge cannon, it looked way more powerful than usual." The beam shot toward Ralts and did massive damage before Play could tell it to dodge.
