It's the start of Sophomore year for Liv. She has a new boyfriend. An old friend comes to town to stir up trouble and Liv finally gets the answers she's been wanting.

After the whole dead pool and Kate issue, the pack finished their Freshman and Junior year of high school. The beginning half of summer, Liv went to South America to visit Cora and catch up with her. Liv's second half of summer has spent with going on lots of dates with Liam and of course spending time with her family and friends. A few days before the first day of Sophomore year, Liv and Liam celebrated their 7 month anniversary.

Now, the night before the first day of school. Liv's in her new car that Derek surprised her with. Mason's also in the car with her. Mason says, "It's our last night of summer and where what taking a drive?" Liv smiles and says, "Yes, we're gonna take a nice calming drive through the woods." Mason smiles and says, "Where's Liam?" Liv looks at the full moon and knows he's chained up somewhere with Stiles and Scott. Liv says, "He said he was busy." Mason says, "Of course he is." Liv shakes her head and says, "Now, all we have to do is find you your other half?" Mason says, "Yeah, then we could go on double dates." Liv smiles and says, "Yeah, that sounds nice." Mason says, "This years gonna be a good year." Liv has a feeling that something dangerous is coming to Beacon Hills. As, Liv's driving, it's starts pouring rain. Liv pulls off to the side of the road and Liv says, "It's really coming down." Mason says, "So, much for our calming drive." Liv softly smiles, "Don't worry. I think we can have a nice relaxing night in my car." Mason smiles and says, "What have you planned?" Liv takes off her seatbelt and reaches in the back for backpack. She brings out sandwich's, snacks, drinks, her computer. Liv says, "We can have a movie night, while we wait for the rain to stop." Mason says, "Okay." They both enjoy watching movies and eating. The rain then stops and Mason says, "This was a nice way to end our summer." Liv smiles and says, "It was." Liv puts her seatbelt on and drives Mason home. Mason says, "See you tomorrow." Liv nods and says, "Bright and early." Mason smiles and leaves. Liv then drives home and parks her car in the driveway. Liv locks her car and walks up stairs into her room to find Liam sitting on her bed. Liv smiles and says, "Hey, Liam." Liam softly smiles and says, "Hey, Liv. I'm sorry I miss hanging out with you and Mason." Liv says, "Don't worry about it. How was your night?" Liv sits next to Liam and he sighs, "I'm still struggling with trying to stay in control. Oh and Scott was attacked at the school by an unknown creature. He's okay." Liv says, "Just what we need, trouble before we start school." Liam nods and brings Liv to his chest and kisses the top of her head. Liv snuggles into Liam's arms with a soft smile.
