Marcus had gotten into a motorcycle accident and Ginny was super emotional about it. Florence knew that they were friends, obviously they would be since Max is her best friend. What confused her though was that she was super heartbroken, like her heart was actually broken. Which made her start thinking.

"Ginny, you and Marcus? You guys totally had a thing, didn't you?" Florence was leaning on Ginny's doorway.

"What? No!" Ginny quickly told her with her eyes widened. "You can't know that because then you might tell Abby and she's in MANG. Then Max will find out." Ginny was panicking, she got up and started walking back and forth. "How did you find out?"

Florence was a bit offended. "It's common sense and I can't believe it took me this long to see it."

Ginny walked up to Florence and pushed her out of her room to close the door.

Florence turned around, confused. "She just-she kicked me out of her room."

Florence went into her own room to change into an outfit for school. Looking into the mirror, she lifted her shirt up, looking over her old burn mark that turned into a scar on her stomach. "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger..i guess." She chuckled as she stared at herself in the mirror.

Florence was alone at the cafe, she wanted to study alone. It wasn't too busy at the cafe but for some reason a man in a suit chose to sit in front of her.

Looking up to see who it was, Florence let a groan out. "How-how did you even find me?"

"The car, it has GPS, Florence." He spoke to her. "You have been ignoring me for a while now. I thought we were doing better."

Florence took a deep breath. "Oliver, you see this?" She pointed to her scar on her cheek. "I thought we were doing better too, I thought you were doing better. But no, you're involved with dangerous things and I got in the middle of it. Does mom even know you're here? Do your friends know you're here?"

"They're not my friends. Strictly business partners." Oliver put his hand over hers but Florence instantly pulled them away. "Florence, I'm your father, I just want to make sure you're okay. I care about you, I wanted to make sure you were safe."

Florence slammed her books closed, "I don't feel safe when I am around you! How many times do I need to tell you that?"

He softly looked at her, trying to stay calm. "Florence, I didn't mean for it to happen-"
