Chapter 19

      Diego's POV

                    I was finally able to sleep though not for long as I was way too anxious. When I opened my eyes I looked at the time on my phone and saw that it was just 6:00am which means I slept for three hours. I scoffed and sat at the edge of the bed with my hands clasped together in between my thighs.

     I stared blankly at the wall opposite me feeling so confused and on edge. I just couldn't get last night out of my head. I wanted to go to her immediately to try and get her to talk to me and give me a different answer but I knew that would be stupid and irrational. Instead of going to make a fool out of myself I got up and went to brush my teeth and relieve myself, then I wore a sweatpant and  tank top so I could go do some exercises. When I was done dressing I took my phone from the nightstand and went out of the room.

       I locked the door and headed towards the elevator

    When I got to the lobby I met a Japanese man behind the receptionist desk and I was hoping he understood English because my Japanese was rusty

   "おはようございます、どうすればお手伝いできますか" he said smiling at me

    " I'm sorry but do you speak English" I asked too tired to return the smile or even try to understand what he said

   " Oh yes I do sir. I said Good morning sir, how may I help you" he said politely

   " I will like to use the gym but I don't know where it is, if I need to sign up first or something"I said to him my hand resting on the desk

   " Sure no problem, and no you don't have to sign up or anything like that it is free for all our guests. Would you like me to ask someone to take you there or I should rather just give you the direction" he said

   "No I'm good just tell me how to get there" I said not wanting anymore interaction

        " Take the elevator to the 5th floor. The gym is the first door by your right" he said still smiling

    " Thanks" I said then turned to leave

   " No problem sir enjoy your workout" he called out

       I followed the directions he told me and found myself in the gym. The first thing I did was run on the treadmill for 15 minutes but I went ahead to do other exercises.

    I finished my workout session 8AM, I decided it was enough so I picked the  bottle of water I took from the fridge from the floor and drank the remaining content. I was feeling a little better but I knew it would not last.

      I went back to my room and stripped before going into the bathroom to take a bath. When I was done washing myself with soap and sponge I stood under the shower thinking about my current situation. I didn't know what I would do if what Ashley said was true.

    I turned off the shower then wrapped a towel on my waist while using the smaller towel to dry my hair. I went to the closet then picked a casual outfit for today, a black jean and a long sleeve white button down shirt then finished the outfit with a white sneakers, a silver tennis chain and bracelet.

    When I was done dressing I sat on the chair at the corner of the room and brought out my laptop. I switched the laptop and went to call for my breakfast while my laptop was booting.

   " Good morning this is Yakima's restaurant, how may I help you" the female on the other side of the call said

   " I would like to have blueberry pancakes and coffee brought to room 264" I said

   " No problem sir, your breakfast will be ready in 15-20 minutes" she said

    "okay no problem" I said the dropped the phone

      I went back to the sit by the table then rolled my sleeves up to my elbow before I started working to take my mind off everything that was happening. While responding to the most important emails a knock on the door pulled me from my work. I stood up and went to open the door then stepped aside to let the staff with my food enter.

    "Good morning sir" the female said with a smile while entering my room.

   " Good morning, just drop the tray on the table" I said going back the continue with the email

      I was again pulled out of my work by the sound of someone clearing their throat

    "Yes how may I help you? " I asked raising my eyebrow

  " Umm..... I was wondering if you needed anything else" she said smiling coyly

   " Did I ask for anything else" I said getting annoyed

  " No you didn't but you can......" she started but I cut her off

   " No, good so get out" I said turning my attention back to my laptop

  " Sir I can help you re......." she started again, was she deliberately trying to get me mad

  " I believe you are not deaf and I hate repeating myself but I'll make an exception for you...."

    " Sir I ......"

   " Get. Out. Now" I yelled now angry

    she didn't need to be told twice again as she scurried out of my room

      With her out of the room I pulled the food closer to me and shifted the laptop to the side. I made myself a cup of coffee before I started eating the pancake

     When I was done eating I made myself another cup of coffee before moving the tray away from me. I brought my laptop back to my front and started working again.

    I was so engrossed in my work that I didn't know I had been working for hours. I can out of my work mode when my phone rang which brought my attention to the fact that it was already noon.

    "Hello" I said immediately I picked the call

    " Hello to you too, now get your ass here and come save me" Adrian said which made me chuckle

  " I will be on my way calm down" I said saving the document I working on before he called

  " You are not the one with a very angry female ready to gut you out so do not tell me to calm down" he whined

    " I will deal with her when I see her so try not to piss her off more okay" I said smirking closing my laptop

    " Fuck you Diego. You so owe me one" he said

  " Whatever" I muttered

" I heard you" he sang

" Bye" I said before hanging up

         I picked up my phone and car key before leaving the room. I locked the room and made my way to the elevator which was again empty.

      when I got to the lobby I booked two rooms for them so they could settle immediately they came

      When I was done booking their rooms I went to the parking area, entered my car and drove to the nearest airport.

     when I got to the airport I drove to the common hanger since and got out of the car. Adrian was the first to spot me as he made his way over to me quickly.

   " Hey man, how was the flight" I asked giving him a bro hug

  " It was good but that should not be your first question or problem"he said

  " On the scale of one to ten how angry is she" I asked skeptical

   " How about 60" he said which made me wince a little

" How about 100" a female voice said behind him.
