"Doll?" Bucky woke up alone and looked everywhere in the bedroom for you since the dogs and cat were still with him, just like your phone. He got up and grabbed some of the clothes he brought over and got dressed heading to his room to check there too.
"Buck?" Steve was outside the door. "What's wrong? Drink too much?" he chuckled.
"Y/N wasn't there when I woke up. She left her phone and the dogs behind" he seemed confused.
"She can't be far, she needs her music" Steve shook his head. "I'll check the gym" he offered and started to head away. Bucky went to where everyone was at breakfast and Nat looked at him worriedly.
"You okay Bucky?" Nat asked seeing that he looked upset.
"You seen Y/N?" he looked out the window towards the lake to see if you were out there.
"No she..." she stopped for a second and she locked gazes with Wanda.
"Lemme check her GPS" Tony took out his phone.
"Her phone is in the bedroom" Bucky told him quickly as the dogs came into the room for their breakfast.
"Oh no" Wanda gasped.
"She must have..." Nat looked at Tony.
"What?" Tony and Bucky asked as Steve came in.
"She wanted to help you with sorting the data that we brought back since the mission was being pushed back, she said she was going to try to get to it last night" Wanda answered softly.
"No, not until we talk to her" Tony looked like he was going to vomit.
Tony and Bruce jumped up at the same time running for the computer room. Tony opened the computers and saw that the files were all sorted and the drives were empty.
"She knows..." Bruce put a hand over his mouth and couldn't speak. Tony took the chair and threw it at the wall.
"What's going on?" Steve and Bucky were at the door with Nat standing close behind holding Wanda's hand.
"She sorted all the files" Tony started to pace the room. "All of them, which means she read them. There were things in there she... she didn't deserve to find out alone"
"Bruce" Nat looked at him and he looked away ashamed.
"She shouldn't have helped" he answered softly. "I would have given anything to have her not help us for this one"
"I'm going to check the woods" Steve started to pull on Bucky's arm. "Why don't you come with me" he asked and they left.
"I'll call Morgan" Tony pulled out his phone and hit a number on speed dial.
"What's in those files?" Nat walked in, not taking no for an answer. Bruce let her brush past him and open the file. Wanda just reached into Bruce's mind to get her answer and sat on the floor in shock. Nat started pulling up your file and read each page, a horrified look on her face as she went. She closed it when she saw there was a bounty still on your head. She hadn't realized she had been reading for an hour while Wanda silently sat there. Vision had come in but only sat beside her.
"Did Morgan answer?" she looked to Tony finally with tears in her eyes.
"No" Tony shook his head.

Bucky and Steve had searched the woods, but came up empty handed. They found what looked like frost had touched the branches, but it looked like you were long gone. When they got back, they found that everyone was either in the gym or the computer lab. Nat looked like she wanted to kill someone, while Wanda was curled up on Visions lap. Tony was still trying to get a hold of Morgan and Bruce was staring into space.
"Mind telling me what's going on?" Steve finally asked. "She's long gone"
"She was an experiment from the start" Tony finally whispered. "She was sold to Hydra for the least amount of money in the batch, she wasn't kidnapped like she was led to believe. That's just to start"
"She knows this?" Steve asked while Bucky looked like he was going to kill someone. He turned and punched the wall, breaking it.
"She knows now, yes" Bruce nodded. "We wanted to break it to her gently"
"With all due respect doctor, there's no gentle way to tell her all of that" Steve shook his head.
"She shouldn't be alone" Bucky growled. "Why didn't you lock up the data?"
"It was encrypted, we didn't think she could get past all of it. Nat taught her well, and well, one of her genetic modifications is higher intellect. She would have been able to do it" Tony defended himself a bit.

You flew and for once, it didn't hurt. You had let the transformation take over so quickly and easily that you didn't even have time to register the pain. You felt like you were damaged beyond repair, that life had shattered your hopes and your dreams. You had worked so hard your entire life to be good, and it turned out you were created for nothing but to be evil. You didn't feel like you belonged with the Avengers, not knowing what you knew now. You were nothing but a sale. You wished that you felt that you were good enough. You hadn't even realized how long you had been flying or where you were going. It was just instinct at this point.
You saw an open grassy field and slowly went for a landing, and let your emotions close off. You barely registered the frost burn on your back as you sat down and started thinking. You had to think logically. Yes, you were an experiment, but you were still human. You had a choice; you could keep running or you could go back.
The thought of not having the Avengers in your life anymore hurt more than anything that your past could have revealed. But, again, logically that was the past. It was meant to stay there. You made your choices, and you made good choices you liked to think.
Your heart was still shattered, but you knew that the pain would make you stronger. You couldn't let this destroy your dreams, that you had only begun to realize. You were stronger than this, and you would make it through it. You looked around and saw a road to follow. You had a call to make.
