Wrapping party

When the boys were leaving for shopping Bucky was hesitant to leave you again. He kept pulling you in for more kisses, lingering at you lips for longer than usual. You could feel him smiling against your lips every time one of the guys would try to pull him away.
"Come on, its just a few hours Jerk" Steve chuckled being the last waiting on him. "I'm sure you will kiss her again when you get back"
"Oh, I plan on it" Bucky grinned at you, and gave a wink. "I'll text you to let you know I'm good" he knew you wanted him to check in without asking.
"I'll hold you to it" you kissed his cheek. "They're waiting" you reminded him.
"Alright, fine" he chuckled giving you another chaste kiss on the lips. "I'm coming, Punk" he backed away slowly keeping his eyes on you.
"Wrapping party!" Wanda called from your suite, but you heard her loud and clear. You waited until he was in the garage and started walking back slowly. When you walked in Frost came running at you, and leapt into your arms. You giggled giving him a kiss on top of the head and put him on your shoulder as you saw the girls were already into the wine and excitedly wrapping their gifts.
"What did you get Bucky?" Nat asked as you walked over.
"Some new clothes, a few other things" you blushed. "I have half of it stashed in the spare room. I'll be right back" you walked away and came back with a few large packages. Nat jumped up to help you, but you walked back into the room grabbing some more. "Thank you both" you said as Wanda took the second lot.
"I'll warn you, Tony already started making plans to change your suite again" Pepper grinned at you. "Twins, I can't believe it"
"First trimester, I'm still worried something will happen" you flushed. "But twins... I can't believe it"
"Oh believe it. I hope it's a boy and a girl" Wanda finished her wine glass and Nat refilled it for her.
"I read since we can see two sacs, that means they will be fraternal so it's a possibility. I just want them to be healthy and make it out okay. I'm worried they will be enhanced, and what happens if they are? What if its fire abilities? What if its Frost? What if they are super soldiers?" you started rambling.
"No matter what, they will be fine. They will have great parents, and a lot of people watching over them" Nat reassured you.
"I can't believe we are going to be grandparents" Pepper giggled a little as she wrapped a new Rolex watch.
"Oh, that looks expensive" Wanda looked at you curiously while you were trying to wrap an expensive art set.
"Its for Steve" you admitted. "He spends a lot of his downtime drawing, I thought he might like having more mediums to play with. I found it at one of those local art stores and got it online having them deliver it a few weeks ago" you smiled softly.
"What's in the big box?" Nat asked curiously.
"Bucky likes his old music, so I got him a record player and some of his favorite old records I heard him listening to on Spotify. He's said a few times that music isn't like it was in the old days" you smiled in spite of yourself. "I also got him a new watch, clothes, and a new set of knives I saw him drooling over online a few months ago"
"He's going to be so excited" Wanda smiled happily. "I bought Vision some new clothes too, and a watch"
"I got Bruce a new set of books he was eyeing for a while, and some new clothes. He barely takes up any room in the closet" Nat admitted softly. "I also paid for a vacation to Bali for a week to get away for a bit in the new year"
"You took my advice! I'm so proud of you" Pepper grinned. "Its hard to buy for Tony, he makes everything he wants, or buys it himself. I went the vacation route too, new watch and clothes"
"Should I get Bucky a vacation too?" you thought out loud.
"Where would you want to go?" Nat raised her eyebrow at you.
"Well, I would love to go to Paris with Bucky. But he's seen that already he said with the team. I know he likes going to the cabin. We kind of figured out we can make love with the inhibitors off last time when we were there, but it had to be in the field so nothing caught on fire" you flushed.
"How was it?!" Wanda jumped up and down excitedly.
"Amazing, it was like our skin was alive with the flames coming out. I honestly wouldn't have cared if we ever stopped to be honest. I was terrified of it hurting him, but he loved it. Ever since then, I've kinda wanted to try to do it again" you flushed.
"You should take him up there before the babies come so you can do that again" Nat winked at you. "After that, you'll be too busy"
"Hey, they have live in babysitters if they need to get away for a few days" Wanda grinned happily. "I can't wait for the team to find out about the new bundles of joy. Pietro keeps asking me what my secret is, but I know I can't tell him or Vision"
"Thank you for that" you smiled gently as you went to wrap your next gift. You took a sip of your orange juice and looked at the girls enjoying their wine. You all continued with easy conversation and banter as you continued to wrap the presents in the room. You received a few text messages from Bucky telling you updates, and asking your opinion what to get each person. You messaged him and told him that he could always sign on the gifts with you that you already bought. He seemed relieved at the prospect. You asked him to pick up a few extra toys for the kids that would be coming however, and he agreed to it quickly. He asked what you wanted for Christmas, and you told him just to spend it with him, that was all you needed.
"What's that?" Nat asked seeing you wrapping an emerald green with silver accents scarf in tissue paper and putting it into a bag.
"Well, Thor and Loki might come for Christmas, and I would hate to leave them out. This is for Loki, since I heard he liked the color green. I got Thor a gold and red one" you bit your bottom lip unsurely.
"We never know when they are going to show up" Pepper admitted gently. "But its good you thought ahead"
Frost came over and mewed at you crawling up on your shoulder and nuzzling your cheek. You gave him a quick kiss on the top of his head, and scratched behind his ears.
"Your new cat is so strange" Wanda shook her head in spite of herself. "I can't get a read on him"
"Strange is good sometimes. He's adorable, and smart" you smiled. "He's become my little shadow everywhere except when Bucky's home. I really think he found me, not the other way around"
"Maybe he did, you did say that animals find people they associate with more" Nat smiled at you.
"I never thought I would lose Chewy and Harry so quickly. But I don't mind. I'm just glad they are happy, and feel so free to move around in the compound" you bit your bottom lip again. "Leia's always been closest to me, and Lily has always been her own cat"
"What do you think Bucky is getting you for Christmas?" Wanda asked as she finished her wrapping.
"I told him I just wanted to spend the day with him" you flushed. "I'm not expecting anything from anyone"
"We should go get you one of those sexy Mrs. Clause outfits for Christmas" Nat looked up at you in glee. "I found one online in my size, we should order you one too"
"Is it something I would wear for the day?" you cocked an eyebrow.
"No, just at bedtime, trust me" Pepper winked at you. "It worked like a charm last year on Tony"
"What's the website?" you grinned in spite of yourself, taking out your phone. Nat typed it in, and you saw it was from a sex shop and turned a bright red. You started browsing the website and found a few things that you wanted to buy since Bucky liked to tie you up once in a while. You found a pair of soft leather cuffs with a long chain, and added them to the cart with the outfit, and some more massage oils. They looked easy enough to get out of, so you weren't too worried about that. You put in your credit card information and had it sent expedited shipping. "Got some more of those massage oils Nat, thank you" you grinned.
"Did you two finish the other bottle yet?" she asked quickly.
"No, but I'm going to use it on him tonight, I think. He's been so sweet, and deserves a treat" you admitted.
"Does he pace outside the door when your sick in the morning?" Pepper asked gently.
"No, he comes in and rubs my back until its over" you flushed. "He's very attentive. He says the next time he wants to be with me every step of the way"
"So you're going to have more than just the two?" Nat's eyebrows were raised in surprise.
"He wants a baseball team" you flushed a deeper red and they all broke out into giggles. "I figure once everything settles down; we can start focusing on that. Right now, this is a surprise and its hard with knowing the team is going to go without me on missions. I liked to think I was helpful"
"You are helpful, and have a high success rate. Just think of the work that you can continue to do in the lab now though. Once the babies are old enough to be away from you, you can go back to missions or stay in the lab. The choice will be yours at least" Wanda reminded you.
"I wouldn't be surprised if Bucky takes time off once the babies come" Nat shrugged. "He's one excited man right now"
"I'm so nervous, if I'm going to be honest. I've been reading a lot online of what to expect. I might order some books on parenting and pregnancy too, come to think of it. At twelve weeks we are supposed to be able to see the babies more clearly, I'm excited about that. I'm just terrified of a miscarriage" you felt like you were word vomiting everything.
"We are taking steps to make sure that doesn't happen. Worrying about it is going to make it worse" Pepper assured you.
"I'm always worried about something" you admitted.
"Stop, we have your back" Nat reached over patting your arm. "Just know you're not alone anymore, and we are going to be watching out for you"
"Exactly, you are apart of this family" Pepper nodded.
"Agreed" Wanda nodded with a big smile.
