When you woke up again, Frigga was smiling down at you with Loki beside her. You felt like something was different, but couldn't put your finger on it.
"Don't move too much child" Frigga warned you. "You started to have some complications, so we pushed your pregnancy along a little to save the two little lives inside of you"
"What?!" you sat up and saw a small baby bump on your uniform.
"Its only by a few weeks it was necessary" Loki spoke softly. "You lost a lot of blood, and it harmed the little ones. Your body took a lot of strain with the amount of power you used, and it may have complicated things a little"
"How can you do that?" you touched your stomach in wonder.
"In our world, science and magic are one in the same. To save them, we needed to take precautions" Frigga touched you on the shoulder. "They are no longer in danger, and neither are you"
"We do need to get you out of that uniform though, and you need a bath" Loki gave a grin. "Come along Lady Y/N, when your ready to stand up I'll bring you to a guest chamber where the maids will help you bathe and dress before I take you home"
"You're coming home with me right?" you grabbed at his hand.
"As you wish" he smiled. "Although, I doubt they will allow me to remain as a cat any longer"
"I still need my friend" you gave a shy smile. "I knew for a while you weren't a cat" you admitted. He gave a mischievous smirk, while Frigga helped you stand up on your own. You were a little light headed and needed a moment to get your bearings before you started following Loki. "So why did you come as a cat?"
"I wanted to see who the new recruit was, and I heard you favored animals. I was only curious at first, but then I got to know you as you are and could see the danger the others did not. I knew if I stayed as a human, they would demand I join them when I knew the compound was the likely target with all the data you went through. I simply couldn't leave the one who didn't judge me for what happened in New York alone, I suppose" he said hesitantly.
"But it wasn't your fault. Mind control is a terrible thing to do to anyone" you spoke a bit passionately.
"It took a long time for anyone to see me as a person again, save mother" he nodded to you. "Even Father didn't believe it was against my will for a long time. Mother talked to him, and I was released from my prison, but my penance is to work with the Avengers"
"I don't see that as penance, I see it as an opportunity to work with a friend" you gave a soft smile, rubbing your stomach absentmindedly. He led you into a large room with a tub that looked more fit to be a pool and three woman standing to the side waiting for you.
"We only have Asguardian robes here for you to change into" he warned you. "I'll be outside, do not give them a hard time. Let them spoil you" he grinned, knowing he was repeating something that Bucky said to you often. You gave a small giggle and walked in the rest of the way while he closed the door.

You were swarmed by the three women almost immediately who helped you out of your "odd" clothes. You took a moment to look down at your nude form, seeing small stretch marks on your skin. The bump wasn't too large, but it was not there when you went to sleep. You wondered silently how long you had been away from home, and how Bucky was. How the rest of your family was. They led you into the pool of water and immediately started scrubbing your skin, while another started washing your hair. You saw where the scar's were from the bullet wounds, and the tiny scar left from where you were burnt. Normally you didn't burn from your own elements, but it was possibly because of being in the frost form at the time. You kept touching your belly, it wasn't protruding too much, just a little more than when you went to sleep. It was more rounded and you kept running your hands over it in wonder. You let the women continue to wash and clean your hair, taking the wash cloth to do some of your more private area's yourself. You still weren't keen on being touched all the time.
When they were finally done, they brought you up to get dried off. You couldn't get over how lovely you smelt all the sudden. It was a wonderful soap they had used on your hair and body. They started drying you off, before getting light blue dress and robes to wear. They braided your hair so it went to the side of your head and the tail went down your neck. They gave you sandals to wear instead of your boots. You picked up your boots and ruined suit before coming out of the room to see Loki waiting for you.
"Come, lets get you something to eat" he took your clothes and they vanished in a flash of green as you tried to follow him as quickly as you could. "I remember a fondness for breakfast foods"
"I'm starving" you admitted.
"It's a good thing we are known for good food here" he smirked bringing you into a large room full of tables and food everywhere. Your jaw dropped at the sight of it. "It isn't meal time yet, this is more snacks for warriors, however Mother did ensure that she wanted to have lots of food for you to replenish yourself before I take you home.
"This is almost too much" you sat where he indicated.
"Not at all, this is normal" he sat beside you and started filling your plate before his own. You both ate in silence.
"It must be nice to not have to eat out of a cat dish" you giggled finally.
"I won't miss that anytime soon. How the other cats can eat that food is beyond me. Thank goodness you caught on, or else I would have starved or blown my cover long ago" he grinned. "The can of tuna was like the food of Gods when I finally ate again" he admitted.
"Why didn't you just get up and eat while I was sleeping?" you looked at him curiously.
"Are you mad? You have night terrors; I couldn't let you sleep with those. I stayed so the spell would work" he shrugged.
"You really did help with the nightmares" you looked at him in awe.
"You scream a lot in your sleep" he nodded. "A small spell was all it took for reprieve, I could manage that even as a cat"
"Do you think the others are okay?" you asked softly after a long silence.
"My brother would have said differently, although I'm sure your fiancée is beside himself with worry. Its been a few days here on my world, which could be at least a weeks time on your world" he admitted gently.
"I do miss my Bucky" you paused before taking another bite.
"The love you two share, its something that one only ever reads about. You both look at one another as though you are the world to one another. It is a rare sight to see" Loki gave a small smile. "It's a blessing to witness it"
"Thank you" you flushed. "You have a way with words Loki"
"As your friend, its my duty to tell you that I will not let it pass should he hurt you" he raised his eyebrows.
"The man wouldn't hurt a fly" you giggled. "He's too gentle"
"To you, yes" he nodded. "I've seen him in battle, he's not always gentle"
"Do you promise to stay with me still when we go back?" you looked at him worriedly.
"I'll stay in my own quarters now, but if you need me as a cat, I will still take that form once in a while to help" he chuckled.
"We've been through too much now, and you're a dear friend to me. You saved my life, and helped to save the lives of my children" you looked at him seriously.
"That was my honor" he nodded. "I would do it again if I needed to"
"I don't know if I can eat anymore" you finally pushed back from your plate and looked at him.
"There's still pie" he raised an eyebrow.
"I can make room for that" you giggled as he handed you a slice and you moaned as you took a bite. "This is Heavenly" you admitted.
"You need the nourishment" Loki shrugged and waited for you to finish.
"These clothes are so warm, and there's so many layers" you fanned yourself a bit.
"That's the children, I believe if not one then both have your flame ability" he looked at you seriously. "I've long suspected it"
"I guess we will find out soon enough" you smiled at him.
"Come along, its time I brought you home" he stood up and held his hand out to you. You took it with a smile.
"Thank you, Loki," you hugged him quickly. You felt your stomach touch him and moved back self consciously. "That's going to take some getting used to" you admitted.

You stopped for a moment to say thank you to Frigga and to give her a hug before Loki helped you get up on a horse and he got up behind you. You waved goodbye, wondering if you would ever see her ever again. She had done you such a kindness you could never repay. Loki brought the horse across a bridge that looked like it was made of rainbows and water surrounded you on either side. You could hear birds calling to one another and looked around in wonder. When he got to the end of the bridge, you saw the man in gold again, with the golden eyes and smiled shyly to him.
"Heimdall" Loki nodded to him.
"Your team has been lost without either of you, they just went home to the compound a day ago" he seemed to be all knowing.
"Can you take us home?" you asked him gently.
"Certainly, Lady Y/N. Hold tight" he warned you while Loki hugged you and you saw him put his sword in a slot and suddenly you were surrounded by a rainbow. You saw the world you were just in disappear, as you found yourself travelling though space and with a lightning crack, you were suddenly outside the compound doors with a large imprint around both of you in the snow, looking to have almost burnt the pavement beneath.
"Are you ready?" Loki whispered.
"Always" you smiled at him and headed for the door excitedly.
