Camila's P.O.V

Someone grabbed my waist and drew me closer to them.

I opened my eyes to find Valentino, his lips on mine, and I was so overwhelmed that I pushed him away.

He took a step back but did not fall, and he opened his eyes in surprise.

"Camila, Camila, I'm so sorry," he hastily murmured and I approached me, and a wave of hatred and rage washed over me.

"Valentino, stop," I muttered as I moved away from him.

"I got carried away, Amore, please understand," he whispered as I sprang up from the bed, still stunned.

I glanced at him, disappointed, and images flooded through my mind.

"No, no, please let me go!" I yelled as the man gripped my waist and pulled me close to him.

His lips were pressing on mine, and tears flowed down my cheeks as I fought to push him away, but he wouldn't budge.

"You should have been more open-minded, you slut," he smacked me, and I screamed as the door burst open, showing Harry, who raced to me as his guys took care of the man.

That was the first time I had been harassed...

I thought I would forget about that memory, I thought I promised myself I wouldn't come back there but right now those are memories haunt me one by one.

I could still feel that guy's lips on mine, I felt disgusted.

Suddenly I came back to my senses.

Valentino approached me and whispered, "Amore," but I took a step back.

"Never touch me again, Valentino," I wept.

I stepped out of his room, taking my luggage off the sofa.

I dashed to my room, terrified that I was about to suffer a panic attack.

I shut the door behind me, and my breathing began to slow.

My mind was racing, my head pounded, I yelled, I dropped to the floor kneeling and tried to calm myself down, and then someone grabbed my shoulder, causing me to startle.

Valentino was standing behind me, so I looked behind me. I shoved him away, and he stared at me, stunned. He continued saying things to me, but I couldn't hear them since for me they were muted.

He approached me and I attempted to get away, but he grabbed my hand and started to cress it.

I began to attempt to breathe in and out; I was getting better, but I was still shivering.

"I'm so sorry Amore, please forgive me," he says as he wraps his arms around me.

I let out a sigh. "Leave me alone..." I said quietly, and he gazed at me with wide eyes. Suddenly, someone entered the room, and it was Miss Caroline, who hurried up to me and knelt in front of me.

I wept and held her hastily.

"Dear, relax, it's all right," she murmured, caressing my back.

That was the worst panic attack I'd ever experienced. It felt like I was about to die.

Alejandro's P.O.V

"I obtained some information from the inquiry, Mr. Huxley."

Xavier's hired investigator stated, and I nodded.

He handed me a folder, which I accepted. When I opened it and saw images of Valentino in his car and in his rear garden, my eyes widened when they met Camila.

"Camila Romano is alive and she's staying with your brother, he abducted her the day of the party, we're not sure if he lit the fire but it wouldn't surprise us if he did, he had her locked up till one day he allowed her to go back here," he continues, and the only sensation I felt was disbelief.

I couldn't believe it my Camila is alive, she's alive! I've waited for so long, so long hoping that she is alive that I was correct... I've blinded my eyes all this time.

For the second time, I wanted to breathe and live knowing she was still alive. And now that I know she's alive, I'm removing her from Valentino's clutches. He'll pay for it.

"He'll fucking pay for this!" I screamed, slamming my palm on my desk.

When I rose up to take my coat from my desk, Xavier grabbed my hand.

"Alejandro you can't just confront him! Do it tomorrow!" He said and I shook my hand and pushed him away.

"Alejandro," he urged, and I pushed him away.

"You wouldn't make the proper decision if you were only full of rage, for once listen to me," he urged as I drew away from him and sat back down furiously.

"You all leave immediately," I told my men and the investigator.

They rushed out of my lounge.

I'm angry, delighted, and envious all at the same time. I wanted to smack Valentino in the face. But, for some reason, I believe Xavier is correct, but I disagree.

Camila's P.O.V

"Are you sure you're all right?"

For the millionth time, Francine attempted to clarify.

"Yes, Francine, I'll have breakfast later, and you're not altering my mind," I said, and she sighed.

"What happened yesterday, Camila? I've never seen you so upset," Miss Caroline queried, and I frowned.

"I'd prefer not to speak about it, Miss Caroline," I said quietly, and she agreed.

We were in Micheal's room, simply conversing since I wanted company and these guys are often bored when a tap on the door shocked us and we became silent.

"Come in," I said, as the door swung open to see Marcelo.

"Boss has called you to his study, Camila."

Marcelo said, and I nodded, before leaving the room and walking back to where he came from. What is Valentino looking for right now?

With a groan, I rose up and exited the room; I felt uncomfortable since his men were around, and I was wearing a skirt and an off-shoulder t-shirt.

But for the time being, all I want to do is live a regular life. Why can't God just give me that?! But every time I beg for it, my destiny and future would tell me NO.
