Again...

"Hey Y/n help me move the boxes" I looked back and jogged over to the car "sorry".

My mom just smiled and headed towards the apartment then I followed behind her.

•Addisons Apartments•

Soon we were done placing the boxes down and started to unpack.

My back starts to hurt. "Don't give up now since we are almost done" I looked over at my mom and smiled.

"Okay but don't be surprised if I passed out" I said jokingly and she just laughed.

When she went to get the other last boxes I felt something underneath my shoe.

I moved my leg to the side, a photo appears. I grabbed it and a picture slowly shows up.

It was a picture of the apartment, my mom and I moving in? Weird we were just doing that now. But wait i didn't have my prosthetic mask on?

I shrugged and placed the picture on my bedroom floor.

It took me awhile to unpack my stuff. Since I finished early I had time to go around.

I was a bit nervous to see my neighbors so whenever I see one in the hallways I try to walk away or pretend I don't see them.

3rd Floor? I stepped out and saw a lady mopping.

I try to walk away—"Oh hey new kid" She said and I slowly turned around.

"Oh my! Your prosthetic mask is beautiful" The brown haired woman said.

"Thank you.." I shyly responded, "Are you going around in a little adventure?" "Well I uh was walking around, getting to know the place.." She smiled and gave me a nod.

"I'm lisa by the way, I work here and live here so whenever you need something just come and find me but if you don't, I'm always at my room which is in the basement"-Lisa
"Hmm..I'm Y/n L/n and I live at 404"-Me
"You know I have a son around your age and his best friend too with a couple of others in the basement, you should go say hi"-Lisa
"I'll try...I'm not much of a 'talkative' person"-Me
"That's fine, they'll understand"-Lisa finished and gave me a keycard.

I went to check out the fifth floor, I started to have some bad vibes coming from here.

I quickly went back to the elevator and slide the keycard in for the basement.

It didn't take long to bring me there, I was nervous what the new people will think of me.

I stepped in and looked around the place.  They have a decent place.

My eyes wonder at the pictures on there wall. But i was interrupted by laughter coming from one of the rooms.

Probably coming from the room that was "keep out" on the door.

Uhh I don't know if I can go in because they'll all stare at me.

Then my savior walks in, Lisa.

"Oh hey Y/n did you talk to them yet?" I shook my head.

She frowned and walked beside me to her sons room.

She opens the door and they stopped talking, their eyes stared at Lisa. I hid behind her.

"Guys I want you to meet Y/n, she's not much talkative so don't force her to say anything that she isn't comfortable with"-Lisa
"Gotcha!" A brown haired girl said.

"Hey it's okay" Lisa reassured me and I slowly move to the side where they can see me.

"Now I have to get back to cleaning" Lisa dismissed herself and closed the door.

I reached out to her but she already left.

Oh god...

They stared at me. "Hey i'm larry" The other brown haired guy said.

"I'm sal"-The blue boy said
"I'm todd" The orange hair said
"I'm ashley!" The girl smiled.

I nodded, "Also look Sal seems like you have a twin!" Larry whispered to Sal.

I got a closer look and he has a prosthetic mask as well.

"Oh yeah" "Come on guys don't make her feel uncomfortable" Ashley mentioned and they said sorry.

They all started talking again and I stood her awkwardly.

My eyes wondered again, but I saw a photo under the beanbag but Sal was sitting on it.

Do I even wait for him to move? Should I go over there, get it and go quickly?

Without thinking I stood up and went over to Sal. I took the photo and he stared at me. "Hey-"

I got nervous and quickly went out of the room.

I heard a low "oh..sorry" coming from him. Going up to my room I took a glance at the photo.

It was me without my mask and the people I just met? We are all smiling, seeming to have a fun time.

I'm so confused but decided to keep it with the other one I found.

School starts in 2 days so why not sleep right now?
