Camila/You – Teach Me – Epilogue

A/N: I’ve been wanting to write this for a while and I just had to wait a little bit cause I was still not over the ending I chose for this fic. Anyway, here is the epilogue which takes place a few years later. I hope you’ll like it.

Your point of view.

6 years later.

Moving in a new apartment was never an easy task, let alone moving in a new house. I was finally seeing the end of it after 6 hours of hard work. And finally, here I was, standing in my new house, surrounded with boxes yes, but still, it already felt like home. I let myself fall on the couch that was in what was supposed to be my living room, finally getting some minutes to rest. I was exhausted and to be honest, I hoped I wouldn’t have to move out again anytime soon. Soon though, I heard the door of the house open and immediately sighed.

“Look who decided to show up. The deserter.” I said in a mocking tone earning a giggle in response.

“I didn’t desert babe, you know that.” She answered coming closer to me but I just kept playing mad. “Come on babe, don’t be mad at me. I had a busy day you know that.” She said as she sat next to me on the couch.

“Well luckily, Rick was with me at least. My best friend was here, helping me move in, by my own wife wasn’t. Can you believe that?” I said reproachfully.

“I was busy.” She answered.

“Busy with what Lauren huh?” I asked finally meeting her eyes. “This was supposed to be a big step for us. We are moving in a new house. And you weren’t here. How is that supposed to make me feel huh? When you miss our first big step in our married life?” I said my eyes getting teary although I knew I was making a big deal out of nothing. Lauren just sighed before she got up.

“I didn’t miss it. I actually am pretty sure I took a different step.” She said and I just frowned.

“What is that supposed to mean?” I asked.

“Happy birthday.” She said as she handed to me a small bag and I just grew even more confused as I unconsciously took it.

“It’s not my birthday.” I answered.

“I know but when you’re gonna open it, you’re going to feel as if it was.” She said before directing herself to the stairs and getting out of my sights within a few seconds. My eyes set on the little package I had in my hands and I frowned before opening it. It seemed like the longest seconds of my life before my eyes finally landed on the object. My heart stop and my eyes widened at the realization of what it was. My hands began shaking and I felt like I was going to suffocate. That wasn’t possible. Tears started filling my eyes as I finally grabbed the object and stumbled up the stairs to the bedroom where I knew she would be. I opened the door in a swift move only to see her sitting on the bed and looking at me with some kind of vulnerability in her eyes. I just looked at her, frozen, crushing the object in my right hand before I finally found my voice again.

“Is this true?” I asked, my voice shaky, barely able to speak louder than a whisper.

“Yes.” Was all she answered and finally the tears escaped my eyes.

“Is it what I think it is?” I questioned again and she nodded once more before she gave me a mind blowing smile.

“We’re having a baby.” She stated and I just looked again at my hand, seeing the little pink pacifier in my hand accompanied by a little band saying “Welcome to the Y/LN-Jauregui Family”. I looked at her, only to see tears streaming down her face, making me finally run to her and engulf her in a bone crushing hug. She giggled as I picked her up and spun her around before I finally set her down and kissed her lips sweetly.

“Now you see, if I wasn’t with you today, it’s because the doc called me this morning to give me the results of the last insemination. I had to stay there to do multiple tests, but the results all came positive. I’m 4 weeks pregnant.” Lauren explained as she cupped my cheeks.

“Babe I’m so sorry. I was a jerk. Please forgive me.” I said as I tightened my grip around her and buried my face in her neck.

“How can I not forgive the mother of my future kid?” she answered and I couldn’t help but feel extremely happy because of the new tittle. I got out of her embrace and looked at her.

“I love you Lauren Y/LN Jauregui.” I said barely above a whisper.

“I love you too Y/N Jauregui Y/LN.” she said back before closing the gap between our lips.

3 months later.

The sky was dark and the breeze was cold as I sat down in front of her, a smile plastered on my face but tears in my eyes.

“We are having a daughter. It’s a girl. They told us today and I was so happy. You should have seen that, it was like I had just been told that Santa Klaus was actually real. You have no idea how happy that made me.” I explained before falling silent and letting the sobs escape me. “We want to name her Camila. After you. Because you were the most important part of our lives and because we keep missing you every day. I miss you so much Camila. But…But right now, Lauren and I are going to have a daughter and I want to name her after you because I want her to be as amazing as you were. I want to teach her everything you taught me. That’s all I wanted to say. You were special to me, you were my everything and now this little baby, Lauren and I’s daughter is going to be my everything. You’re a part of our lives forever now. And no matter where you are, you keep teaching me how to be a better person.” I said before I smiled.

“I miss you Camila.” I said finally and let a small smile invade my features again. “We are endgame. Always and Forever.”

A/N: It’s official now. That was the last update you’ll ever get from Teach Me.
