යටක ඇති ඒ පහස
විඳිමු අපි එක දිනක
තුරුල් වී සමීපේ....
හිරු නැගෙන තව දිනක
හිරු කිරණෙ නැවුම් බව
විඳගන්න මා සමග
පියනගමු මතු දිනේ....
නගරයේ කෙලවරක
ඈත ඇති ලී ගෙදර
තවම ඇති මග බලන්
ඔබ නැතිව පාලුවේ....
ලී ගෙදර වටේ වූ
පුංචි ඒ මල් කැකුලු
මගබලන් ඉන්නවලු
ඔබ නැතිව සීතලේ....
ලී ගෙදර එහා ඇති
ඒ පුංචි විල් ඉවුරෙ
ගී කියා සිනාසෙමු
දැනෙන විට ආදරේ....
තව කඳුලු එපා දැන්
නැගිටින්න පෙර ලෙසක
සිනාවන් ඉසලන්න
පෙර දිනක තිබූ සේ....
නවතිනා තුරු හුස්ම
පෙම් කලා නුඹ හටම
පතමු අපි එක්වෙන්න
උදාවන මතු බවේ....
පැමිණෙනා හැමදිනම
බලන්නට මගෙ සතුට
සිනාසී පවසන්න
ආදරේ බව ප්‍රියේ....
සුදු කපුරු මල් පොකුරු
නොම ගෙනෙන් කිසි දිනක
තබා යන් රතු රෝස
සමග නුඹෙ ආදරේ....
වෙහෙසකර දිගු දිනෙක
බලන් රෑ අහස දෙස
පායනා රන් තරුව
මමයි ඔබෙ හදවතේ....
One day we will both experience
that scent under the rose arch.
