He caressed her face as she cried. Just a few moments ago, they confessed their love. Every time he had a girlfriend, he was dumped. Now he could have had one, and he is dumping her. By possibly dying.
In Dr. Lim's office:
"Hydrobaric oxygen therapy". Morgan spoke to Audrey.
"It is toxic to bacteria, meaning that the sepsis could possibly stop."
"It might be too late." said Audrey.
She sighed.
"But we have to try. Do it."
"Okay, but who will stay with him? I have patients to take of and when I say that, I mean I need to make use of my other hands, and you have a surgery."
Dr. Lim remembered.
"Claire. She is with him right now."
Morgan enters Neil's room.
"Dr. Melendez. We would like to move you into the hydrobaric oxygen therapy room. I know it is a slim chance, but I think this might just work."
Claire's face is not hopeful and neither is Neil's. He sighs and looks at Claire.
He then looks at Morgan.
"I guess I'll give it a try."
They move him out of his room, with Claire, gripping tightly onto Neil's hand.
They enter the hydrobaric room and the doors shut. Now it was just Claire and Neil. Again.
