Just like expected, they had built a fort. I managed to squeeze myself through their wall and i sighed.

The only people up were Gi-hun and the old man.

"Where were you?!" Gi-hun whisper-yelled at me, anxiously grabbing me then rushing to fix the barrier between our group and the other players.

"Bathroom. That's all... Nothing to worry about." I replied.

Feeling the eyes of someone on me, i saw the old man staring at me with a smile.

His eyes seemed tired and I couldn't help but to feel sorry for him. "Sir, why don't you sleep for now?

I'll take over with him" I said, pointing at Gi-hun.

"Its alright-"

A dramatic yawn sounded from behind the old man, causing us all to glance at the source.

A sleepy looking Aakesh was a sight to behold. His hair was all messy (even more than usual), his face slightly puffed up and he looked downright confused.

A small giggle escaped my lips looking at his state but I stopped once i noticed the dark eyebags he had.

"My head hurts and you three are just making it worse." He said, a look of disapproval clearly written all over his face.

"For once he doesn't look ready to kill someone" Gi-hun whispered to me, which unfortunately for him, did not go unheard by the sleepy looking boy in front of him.

"Oh trust me, I wouldn't underestimate him if i were you" I snickered.

Aakesh crawled towards me slowly, like a predator stalking its pretty, causing me to move backwards towards Giving.

The moment his hand grabbed my arm, he dragged me away from Gi-hun and the old man.

He covered me with one of the blankets and pushed me down on the mattress in the corner, grabbing a nearby one and laying next to me.

I opened my mouth, about to protest when he simply placed a finger on my lips to silence me.

"Sleep. You'll need it for tomorrow's game"

He said, making me lean on him.

I still wanted to protest but i gave up. The fatigue from all this finally hitting me. I relaxed and shut my eyes, hearing a faint,

"Please don't die. I need you here...alive..." before finally welcoming sleep with opened arms.

................

I expected to wake up to the sound of music playing, just like it usually does every morning but instead, I hollered awake at the sound of an emergency alarm...

At least it sounded like one.

"All players, please note that the 4th game will begin soon. Please follow the staff to the game room."

The guards walked in with their guns, the square one in front as usual.

I turned my head to Gi-hun, who seemed to be waking up the old man. I rushed towards them when I saw the old man looking paler than usual.

"Is he sick?" I questioned Gi-hun, slightly worried for the old man.

"Wait! Why didn't anyone wake me up  to keep watch??" I asked, looking around at my group members.

"Your boyfriend over there took two shifts to cover for yours." 240 answered, pointing at Aakesh who had his hands in his pockets as a guard walked up to him.
