THE AIR was heavy as the pine forest was shaken by the wind. The locals always believed that something was wrong and demonic in the pine forest and they would advise people not to go in there if they didn't want any trouble.

Well, trouble found them anyway.

The story of Nos de Ville and Lillian Dalca was infamous as the most tragic story of all time where Nos explored the pine forest and changed forever after that day.

He lured the sweet, innocent Lillian to become his conquest, and later, they disappeared into the forest. It was known to the Order that they ran to be killed by the spirits of the forest because they were an abomination, a converted human to become a Vampire—nicer word; Blue Blood—that started the existence of an abomination species.

But they don't know half of the story.

A Portal appeared between the trees as someone who was dressing in a Victorian suit was coming through the portal. He was a handsome young man with black eyes and hair. He looked around the tree before someone stepped behind him as the first person was wrinkling his nose. "What the hell is that smell?" he demanded as his second in command was bowing at him.

"That would be the smell of sulfur, my prince. I don't think that you know about it until you smell it yourself," the second in command said before the prince turned to look at his second. He rolled his eyes.

"Stop with your sarcasm, Kade. It's not every day a Prince from Mirror World comes to the Known World. You know the history. We're not welcome here and your father has been living around here far too long for us to have any ease back home," the prince from Mirror World named Lucius de Ville was looking around the pine forest as the stars were twinkling in the dark skies.

"How far are we from your father?" he asked Kade before his second told him that they were in the wrong country. Lucius sighed. "We better work fast. It's a good thing that I don't want to be in Mirror World right now," the prince said before Kade smiled at him.

"Running away from someone, Your Grace?" he asked before Lucius glared at him. He waved his hand dismissively before Kade teleported himself from the portal. Lucius was looking at the Lore of Lacul Rosu that talked about his ancestors' escape and the formation of Mirror World as the sanctuary home to Blue Blood and Vampire alike.

But he also knew that some of his distant families lived in the Known World, hidden among the human civilization as they did not want to remain in Mirror World.

Not that it's his problem but the fact that they were not being hunted by the Order was a mystery. How did they stay hidden for so long that the Order of the Holy did know about them?

Then, an idea formed inside Lucius' head as he smirked before he was translocated himself to be in the heart of the Order, wanting to destroy it from the inside out.

Bianca Belmonte yawned as she was looking at the clock. It was almost the start of her shift and she was putting on her long-sleeved shirt with denim pants before she went out of the old apartment that she bought with her own money.

She smiled as she walked down to the town square before she made her way to the back room to put on her apron and do the first task on her list for that day. Sorting cans and tins in the grocery.

"Great," she mumbled before she took the cart that had been packed with tins and cans for her to sort on the rack. She pushed the cart toward the aisle that was designated for it before she looked at the spot where she would be starting her sorting.

"Alright." She said as she rolled her sleeves and sat on the floor as she was taking one can per hand, "time to get it done,"

She was putting the cans and tins according to their sizes and brands as she worked up the racks. She was humming non-existence music inside her head as she was smiling while doing her work.
