Chapter 5

GABRIEL was fidgeting as he was walking toward the grocery store where his mate was working. He was supposed to walk her home as well as go to her workplace but apparently, he was not on that base yet with Bianca.

Bianca, what a beautiful name. Gabriel was smirking when he entered the store and went to search for her. She was restocking the mineral water bottles as her back was to Gabriel. He smiled at his mate working hard at work.

I wonder if she had any elemental or psychic abilities. Gabriel wondered before Bianca turned to look at him as she was startled before she smiled at him.

"Gabriel, I don't know that you're here. Are you looking for something to buy?" she asked him as she put the bottles down on their racks before she dusted her hands on her jeans and went to stand in front of him. Her honeysuckle scent hit his nostrils before he schooled his expression as he looked around the aisle.

"No, I want to see you and I thought I would come to meet you for a while before our date, and please, call me Gabe," he said smoothly as Bianca was smiling shyly, biting her lower lips in the process. Gabriel surpassed his feeling to groan before he cleared his throat and walked down the aisle.

"You don't have to do that. I still got one hour left before my shift is over and," she said as she was staring at his handsome face before smiling, "I will be yours for the night after that," she said before Gabriel was hit by the enjoyment that he never thought that he could ever feel again.

He smiled before he walked with Bianca as she was playing with her hair. Gabriel was about to ask her something when someone was shouting at them.

"Bianca! What the hell are you doing?! You're supposed to be arranging the fruits on aisle 7 now!" the man as Gabriel turned to look was a pudgy little man with a round stomach staring at his mate. His Darker Side was acting up as they wanted to kill that man for talking down on his mate.

But Gabriel controlled it before he could do any permanent damage to his mate and he was supposed to be a foreigner who did not understand Italian, although he could read the man's mind.

"Now, move your ass there, puny," the man said before Gabriel learned that he was Bianca's manager.

All the reason for Gabriel to control his urge to kill him

"Yes, sir. Right away, sir," Bianca said before the pudgy man was grunting something under his breath but Gabriel caught it all.

'Little slut, wanting to get laid tonight. She was supposed to be working and the only person to touch her was me,' his thought stated before Gabriel could feel his fangs coming out from their concealment inside his gums but he did not want to do that.

Not wanting to scare Bianca away, he gulped before his fangs retracted into his gums again.

"I am sorry. I have to go to work for now and I will be ready in an hour," Bianca said before Gabriel turned to look at her. He smiled before nodding at her as his mate was making her way toward aisle 7 to arrange some fruits as her manager said. Gabriel clenched his jaws as he was about to talk with the manager.

And what was a Blue Blood to do when his mate was involved? He confronted him.

Gabriel stalked away from the aisles before he used his psychic ability to instruct the manager to go to the back alley of the store. He was waiting there as he was about to give some piece of his mind and put compulsion on the manager to be nice to Bianca.

Or forgot her from his radar.

Gabriel was leaning against the alley as the manager was coming into view. He smiled as he was asking him to come to him. The manager went willingly as his eyes were dilated and he was looking at Gabriel as if he was the leader of the world.
