Percy's pov:

"Thank you for sticking with me, guys," I smiled, as we were falling

"No problem!" Leo laughed,

"You're our friend. I don't know why I chose to go with the hunters, I always had feelings for someone, but she never saw it!" Thalia snickered,

"Who?" Leo said, grinning,

"Not you, repair boy, not you," Thalia laughed at his reaction,

"Of course, it's the wise decision, but I must warn you -- Tartarus himself is against you, we should never let our guard down," Athena said, smiling respectfully,

"You're like a brother I never had, Perce, I'm sorry for everything," Piper smiled, Jason nodded,

"I'm sure Hazel and Frank would've chosen to join you as well, maybe even Hades since he was never on the council," Jason agreed,

"That brings me an idea, we could get them back to life if we negotiate with Hades," I said,

"I miss them," Reyna whispered, as tears threatened to spill,

"So do I, Reyna," I said, turning female again, then clearing my throat "the ground is coming near I believe it'd be a good idea to prepare,"

"Yes, how? Only you and I know how," Athena said,

"I agree, therefore I'll need your help to protect them from dying," I answered. She quickly nodded, "unless you have another idea, Athena, I'd be happy to hear it,"

"Well, I know where the Synaisthímata are locked up, and how to get there. But it will be difficult. I also have an idea how to manipulate Tartarus to put him into our use," she answered,

"Perfect, great idea olive!" I laughed,

"Whatever kelpie," she answered, Reyna burst out laughing,

"We're nearing the ground, guys," Leo warned,

"Everyone, I'll control the water to soften the fall!" I stated and quickly focused on the water molecules, making the air more dense so we wouldn't fall as hard.

"Argh!" I groaned as a sharp pain shot through my left shoulder,

"Percy!" Athena gasped, quickly running to my side,

"Percy, you alright?" Jason ran to me,

"Yeah," I groaned, sitting up,

"No you're not. You dislocated your shoulder. This might hurt," Athena said, shaking her head. She quickly moved my shoulder in to place. I winced,

"Thanks, Athena," I said, breathing in a deep breath of the dusty, hot air of Tartarus. I looked down and saw the very earth I once had fallen to my lowest state. The very place where I found an evil side to myself.

"It's...worse than I though it'd be," Athena admitted,

"Yes, I thought it'd be more..." Piper trailed off. I stared at the red-purple, dusty, rough ground.

"We should get going. It's not safe in the open," I said, ignoring their surprised looks of Tartarus,

"How will we survive?" Jason asked,

"Are you doubting my knowledge, Grace?" I asked, growling in annoyance,

"N-no," he stuttered, and looked away,

"Now, let's go," I said, walking toward a cliff. I looked around from it. Let me tell you -- we fell in a whole other spot of Tartarus than I did with Annabeth.

If I didn't know better, I'd say it was beautiful. The air was tinged in orange. abbot 50 meters up, you could see stone, carved. But it went higher and higher when you went deeper into this hell hole, to the point when it looked like an atmosphere. You could see the four rivers - Styx, Acheron, Phlegethon and Lethe. Styx, shining white in the distance, Phlegethon, the pure color of non-solidifying lava, Lethe, shining a beautiful, light blue, and Acheron, shining green. Everything was in an unnatural orange tint. When I say everything, I mean everything. The ground, rivers, air, and so on. Other that the three beautiful, seemingly endless rivers, there were many stone towers and flying creatures.

It was like another earth. The dark type of earth.

"Wow..." Piper breathed out,

"I know where we must go. We will follow the river of Phlegethon," I started,

"If I may," Athena interrupted, "we could go for the other Synaisthímata before leaving, they will be a valuable asset in the war,"

"Good move, Athena, I, for once, agree," I replied, "where are they?" I asked. She pointed to the distant, black area. The ground there was black and dark purple, unlike the rest of the area, "That is the worst, darkest and most evil prison. Lockup of the Dark Woods,"

"That's...hundreds of miles away," Thalia said, "We could kill the distance in a month if we move quickly without many stops. But we need the Phlegethon to be able to survive, and that is not where the river goes,"

"I agree. Therefore we should hunt monsters. Eat them. But before they die, so they won't become dust." Jason brainstormed,

"Great thinking, Jason," I commented, "Then we'll head that direction,"

"We could jump off and do a similar thing as earlier, this time, though, cushioning your own fall as well," Leo piped up,

"Sure, let's try it again. I bet we'll need that much more later as well," I laughed, Thalia grinned next to me,

"Ready?" She smiled wider,

"Yeah!" Leo pumped up his fists, Jason and Piper chorused a 'Yes' after him,

"Yes, we're ready," Athena replied formally,

"Jump!" I shouted, turning male, and dived off the cliff into the dusty air below. Thalia paled significantly seeing the long distance to the ground. I grabbed her hand and pulled her into my embrace. She blushed but quickly squeezed her eyes shut.

Leo looked at me and smirked in a knowing way. I rolled my eyes and focused on the water in the air. I could significantly feel the falling decrease in speed.

"Good job, Percy!" Athena said, her eyes lighting up in pride.

"Thanks, 'thena!" I smiled. We landed without any broken bones, which is really good compared to before.

"Good job!" Leo, Jason and Piper showered me with thank you's and good job's.

"Thanks," Thalia blushed, scratching the back of her neck,

"Any time, Thals," I gave her my trouble maker's smile and turned to the rest,

"No need to use too much energy. We have a long journey awaiting." I said, staring into the direction of the prison. I narrowed my eyes,

"We're coming," I whispered into the air.

No one heard me.
