Shadow

I jolted awake. I've never looked at my window before falling asleep so I became surprise seeing a shadow outside my window.

'But I'm on the second floor?'

So if anything, someone is definitely climbing up my balcony.

I run towards my window and see that the shadow was shifting like they're trying to hide.

Without opening my window I held the glass and lean on them.

"I'm home safely, thank you"

I don't know what came over me that I show gratitude to my stalker. I should be afraid of him right now but I'm feeling the opposite.

Did he always came up here to check on me whether I came home safely or was he being a pervert and trying to see me change my clothes?

His shadow disappear as I sigh.

'I never get your name'

"There hasn't been murder case for 3 days, I wonder what happened to the serial killer on the news?"

Jaehyuk ask as we look at him all confused as well.

Three days ago, my stalker followed me till I reach home and his shadow disappear as soon as I came to sleep on my bed. It was around 11pm. I really need to know at what time this serial killer attacked innocent girls to erased my stalker off the possible suspect list.

Calling him 'my stalker' seems so foreign in my tongue now. To me, he almost felt like an acquaintance now, an acquaintance I didn't know a name.

"Oh Junghee, what about your stalker? Did things still happens?"

I shook my head. Them calling him "your stalker" somehow angers me too. He maybe a stalker but I don't want him to get address like that.

Just why Yoo Junghee?

I purposely get home late tonight. It was past 9pm and as soon as my feet stepped outside the school gate, there is another feet appearing a few metres away from me as well.

I pretend I didn't see him and continue walking.

Now its ride or die

I suddenly took a turn and walk towards a dark alley. Shivers went down my spine.

If he is really a good guy, this is where I get his name and if he happened to be the talk of the town's serial killer, then I guess this is where my life ends.

I took a deep breath and look at the dead end alley, nowhere else to run away from here even if I wanted to.

I stop in my track and so did he.

He must have noticed the dead end as well because he took a step back but before he took more step, I turn around and see him standing a few feet away from me.

"What's your name?"
