First kiss (rewrite) (Scar/Grian)

{Hey y'all ,I'm back ,as I've had alot of inspiration ^^, this is another rewrite of an old badly written fic ^^, I had fun writing this,  been awhile since I've wrote Scarian ,it's such a wholesome ship

Scar and Grian has been dating for around 3 months, yet despite that, the furthest the two of them have ever gotten was either holding hands or cuddling, now Scar didn’t mind that, he knew due to Grian’s pass he had to be extra gentle with the little gremlin, as he did not want to scare him, yet Scar couldn’t help but want a little more, despite how selfish he believed it was.

Scar smiled softly to himself, remembering back to when the two of them originally got together, it was like any other day, Scar was walking through the shopping district, doing his mayoral duties, taking note of the mycelium that was slowly spreading through the shopping district once more.

When out of nowhere a certain mother spore, crashed straight into him, sending him crashing down to the ground, with Grian laying atop of him, Scar remembers how flustered and out of breath the older male was, thinking back to it, this was the first time he had seen Grian truly, vulnerable and flustered, normally the gremlin rarely showed his true emotions, but that time...it was different.

When Grian had finally seemed to realize their position, he remembered Grian rambling and stuttering out apologies, Scar had to kept trying to tell him it was okay, that he’s not mad and that he’s more worried about Grian, as he fell from quite a height, eventually Scar had managed to calm, the anxious male down.

Grian reassured Scar that he was alright, only slightly bruised, he also admitted he was somewhat glad he crashed into Scar, as he had been looking for the mayor, he needed to speak to him about something.
That confession made Scar concerned, that concern only grew when he realized how scared and nervous the smaller male looked, Scar wanted to find a way to crush the thing that scared the male.

And when Grian had confessed to having a crush on him, well that became one of the happiest days of his lives, his smile brightens, as he remembers how happy Grian became, when Scar admitted he felt the same way, and that he has felt that way for quite some time, and he wasn’t sure when was the best time, to tell him.

Grian was ecstatic over the confession, his bright smile, made Scar’s heart flutter, his heart almost broke from his chest, when Grian layed a quick but gentle kiss upon his cheek, Scar’s own cheeks went bright red, he was completely frozen in place, he remembered how sweet yet devious Grian’s little giggle was, all Scar could do was watch as  Grian took off into the sky gracefully, he lovingly watched as the gremlin disappeared off in the distance.

Shaking his head, Scar snapped himself out of his thoughts, looking down at his hands, Scar remembered what brought this nostalgia up, you see the furthest the two of them have really gotten were a quick peck on the cheek , yes they cuddled and held hands, but that's basically all they’ve really done, yes they’ve gone on dates but that’s different...Scar wanted more, he wanted to kiss his lovely boyfriends soft lips, he wanted to show Grian, how much he truly loved him.

Scar couldn’t help but imagine how Grian’s lips would feel like, what it’d be like to kiss him, shaking his head once more, Scar could feel his face heat up at his hopeful thoughts, Scar lent against the wall, burying his head in his hands, letting out a frustrated groan, Scars face heated up even more, as he couldn’t get the thoughts of Grian, out of his mind.

What finally snapped Scar out of his thoughts, was a yell of his name, straightening himself back up, and looking up at the sky, were the source of the sound came from, Scar noticed what seemed to be a figure falling, possibly to their death, as he got a better look, he realized that person was Grian, chuckling softly to himself, Scar spread his arms out, hoping to catch the gremlin.

Grian came in fast, crashing into Scar, knocking both of them to the ground, Grian quickly pushed himself up, rambling out apologies, rambling how he didn’t check the durability on his eleytra,  and that he wasn’t looking where he was heading.

All  Scar could do was stare at Grian, feeling deja-vu from the situation, he also couldn’t help but realize how beautiful Grian looked sitting in his lap, how his eyes shined and how red his face was from being so flustered and embarrassed, he glanced down at Grian’s pouting lips, he gulped at the thought of laying a kiss upon them.

Scar sat up quickly, reassuring Grian everything is okay and that he’s fine, just a little stunned, one of Scar’s arm encircled Grian’s waist, pulling the male closer to him, he chuckled at the flustered yelp he got in response, he place a hand upon Grian’s red cheeks, he gazed lovingly into Grian’s  clear blue eyes.

Scar lent forward slightly, an unanswered question lingering in the air, when Grian nodded, is when Scar placed his lips upon Grian’s, he smiled into the kiss, as Grian instantly melted into it, despite how long Scar’s been waiting for this, he decided to keep the kiss short, as to not overwhelm the shorter male.

Breaking from the kiss, both males were panting heavily, Scar smiled down lovingly at Grian , gently placing another soft kiss upon Grian’s lips, he’d tease the shorter male for his red face, but Scar knows his own face,is likely as red as Grian’s.

“W-what was t-that for?”

Grian managed to stutter out between pants

“I just love you, so much”

Scar replied happily, his smile brightening as Grian let out a giggle before hugging Scar tightly, burying his face in Scar's chest.

“I-I love y-ou you”
Grian mumbled into the Scars chest.

Scar chuckled at the other behaviour, smiling softly, Scar placed a gentle kiss upon Grian’s head, chuckling once more at the whine he got in response.
Scar felt extremely lucky by this, not just because he’s got the male of his dream’s in his arms, he’s also extremely lucky that he gets to see Grian like this, he knows he’s the only one to ever see Grian this flustered and shy, he gently ran his fingers through Grian’s hair, humming softly to himself, as he rocked Grian side to side, slowly soothed the other male to sleep.

Looking down at the sleeping male, Scar felt his heart flutter once more, placing one last kiss upon the blonds head, the mayor laid his back against the floor, closing his own eyes for a bit, both of them deserved the sleep and the rest, plus it was nice to just stay here and cuddle, both of them spent the day cuddling and sleeping, of course Scar did move them to his bed, so it was much safer to sleep, but to be honest he felt the safest with  Grian in his arms.
