World:Attack On Titans
Oc:Aetius Belisarius

Guilt, shame, regret, Fear....who knew what she was thinking. Just a few hours ago she had a resolve stronger then these walls, but now like the building around her it was cracking and broken.

Annie sat down on the hand of her titan and she wept not for the people killed in the way nor for the "friends" she'd come to bear no she wept for herself  she wept for a homeland that she'll neve lay her eyes on again and finally she wept for the two closest people her father and probably the only person she'd truly consider a friend

She'd give a small chunkle and thought back to the time she first met him it was a fairly warm summer she was around 6 [flash back here]

Her father called her into the house. He was a strict disciplinarian but she has come to both fear and love the man. Walking into the home she was met by the pale blue eyes of a boy.  He was around 5'5 and looked about her age the most striking feature was a wide star-like scar on his lower right cheek that touched the curve of his lips

At first when people said they looked similar but when she met him at the start of the cadet camp she could see it now well he looks like a younger version of commander Erwin she lightly chuckled at the thought of Aetius being a mini erwin, her thoughts drifted back to that young boy.

Her father cleared his throat and nudged the boy

Boy:salve, nomen mihi est Aetius Belisarius

"Hi, I'm Annie"

Boy:Vos noscere

Annie looked to her father with a questioned look

Mr.Leonhart:His name is Aetius,he seems to speak Latin like the rest of those romans and he seems to understand our language but just can't speak or write it

After that day the two became attached at the hip once in a literal sense when they got into some adhesive and it worked out good for the pair Annie helped Aetius overcome the language barrier and Annie got someone to train with

When one harder training session went wrong with Annie near collapsing in exhaustion failed a obstacles course and her father's lead hand came down Aetius was always there to help her through it and to comfort her even if it did end with him getting slapped hard enough to cause blood to flow from his nose

He was still there afterwards smiling with small tears in both their eyes red flowing from their face.  Soon enough that young boy faded into the corner of her mind as she grew up in the warrior program not that he knew, didn't even know why he just suddenly stopped seeing her when he came over.  How badly it crushed him to not even get to say goodbye only God above knew and she...she was somewhat thankful for that

In shame and despair she dug her face into her palm what she would have give to feel that young boys embrace she'd eventually get that wish it was the first day of the cadet corps

Shadis:AND WHO THE HELL ARE YOU, YOU STONE FACED MAGGOT

Stone-Faced Maggot:Aetius Belisarius,Sir

Shadis:Belisarius,Your that boy Smith adopted

Aetius:that is correct

Shadis:well then Bella-sarius WHY ARE YOU HERE

Aetius:TO SEE THAT THE CHILDREN OF ROME ONCE AGAIN WALK THE STREETS OF THE ETERNAL CITY

Shadis:MY MY AREN'T YOU THE AMBITIOUS CUNT,ALRIGHT YOU EXCUSE FOR MAGGOTS YOU ARE ALL DISMISSED,WELCOME TO THE 104TH CADET CORPS

As everyone filed out Annie was called to it wasn't a friendly greeting no pleasantries just from among the crowd  "Leonhart"  was called as Annie walked to the the source of the call her fellow warriors Bertholdt and Reiner followed. She distinctively remembered his face it was him no  doubt all that changed was a rougher face and a scar that ran along the top of his ear on the right side.

The two stood their and she vaguely remembered mixed feelings he gave off and then to her shock he huged her like she was going to just disappear again it was a bitter sweet hug maybe...maybe if they'd met under different circumstances but this hug him,she remembered wishing none of it happened that Belisarius didn't happen not out of hate for him no she couldn't bring herself to hate him but she knew what she would have to do if he got in the way..no not if he does but when.

He didn't change greatly he was still like that young boy always there helping his cadets and even brought her straight to her bunk when she over does the occasional late night training sure it cost them teasing from  the entire female population of the 104th but she didn't seem to mind much

And so there Annie sat reliving memories wondering what it would have been if she wasn't apart of the warriors what would have become of herself and Belisarius, but now she had to decide Aetius was smart enough to realize someone controlled the female titan it was only a matter of time before he continued the dots

Either she could surrender to Belisarius and his varangian Cataphract they had their own MPs and court maybe she'd get what would seem like mercy when compared to the other branches or she could carry on her mission and hope she wouldn't have to see her friend buried worse yet be the reason he's buried no matter how it each she'd beg him for forgiveness either in person or from shadows
