"Hmmm" Alexandra groans with a stretch she looked so beautiful laying next to me I could literally get used to this "Really.. she questioned as I realized I had just said that out loud
"Of course...I could never get tired of seeing you next to me....I can't wait for us to finally be one"
The smile on her face was everything as I leaned in for a kiss something that started off as subtle but then turned heated "move in with me" I state
"Huh?
"Move in with me.. I repeat
"Awwwn babe but our wedding is just in a few months"
"I don't think I can wait that long" I say with a serious expression on my face gazing into her eyes
"Move in with me... I say with more urgency as I trailed kisses around her jaw "please...
"Awwwn baby! You know I want to" she whines
"Yeah.....what's stopping you?
"I need my space right now......
"Space? You can bear to be away from me"I state incredulous with a small frown
You know that's not what I meant...with the new movie coming up I cannot afford any distractions plus our wedding is not so far away it won't be long till we are finally able to be together"
She says as she placed her lips on mine in an effort to pacify me I didn't respond trying to stand my ground but with her hands and feet trailing down my thigh I found my resolve melting away as I responded to the kiss with equal fervor
Soon after our rendezvous we both sat down for breakfast which my house keeper Mikaela had made us she came three times a week for the housekeeping
"So babe what was it you wanted to discuss with me yesterday before we got distracted" I start the conversation watching as she paused with a smile on her face and a hint of a smirk
"You mean....you got us distracted"
"Yeah yeah I accept" I say smiling
"So I'm guessing you know Sheila...who gave birth a few months ago...
"Yeah...
I knew Sheila she's this wannabe Barbie girl who talked a lot, a modeling actress and is under contract in my company with her husband as her manager let me not even start with him with his ego as gigantic as the Atlantic Ocean no exaggeration there
"Well...you know you were surprised to hear when I told you that they had a daughter"
"Well yeah" I say in a eager tone wanting to know where this conversation was going
"that's because it was too soon
"You said it was too soon
We both said at the same time
It was indeed too soon looking back to the time of her wedding which wasn't even up to a year how ever did she conceive and give birth that fast except if it was prematurely which I'm sure it wasn't...then it was too soon.
"Well it seemed too soon because she didn't have the child." She states nonchalantly
"What do you mean"
"She.....I mean she and Caleb had the baby through surrogacy... she replied waiting for my response
"Okay that explains it then...seeing as she didn't look pregnant at her wedding" I respond easily "So that's it... that's what you wanted to discuss with me" I added
"Not really but I was thinking you know....about how... I mean us...And how you know you've always said you'd love to have a baby..
"Yeah.....I do wanna have a baby" I say confused still not understanding where this conversation was heading
"You see... so I was wondering..Urmm I thought since I...I mean since we wasn't ready to have a baby yet,so soon into our marriage... why don't we..
Alexandra was stuttering and that was something Alex didn't do this made me all the more eager and impatient to know where this conversation was heading.
"Why don't we what? I questioned getting anxious
"Whydontweuseasurrogate" she said so fast I wasn't sure I heard her right
"what? I asked
"I said why don't we use a surrogate...you know like Sheila and Caleb did" she explains minutes after
"I don't understand.. I thought we agreed to wait till you were ready I mean we were both ready..
"Yeah I know we did...but then I was thinking how about we did it for our first then we could have the rest when we were ready"she said her eyes not leaving mine,pleading me to agree
"You know there are so many risks involved in this what with our baby getting attached to someone else and what not and then how do we know if our baby doesn't end up with an unknown illness" I asked a bit reluctant
"That won't happen my love..I guarantee you Sheila said the agency she used is legit and we can sue in case of any damage heaven forbids that though"
She replies with a hint of a smile on her face
"You're going to have to give me time to think about this...." I say still reluctant to agree
"Yeah I know sweetheart take all the time you need...but you know we have to act soon so the baby can be born at least a month after our wedding" she replied seeming to have had it all figured out in her head which brought me to thinking she'd already been planning this since she had the discussion with sheila
As she gave me a peck on my lips before going to work "have a good day..."
