I woke up feeling more tired and exhausted than ever as I struggled to get out of bed with a groan with my due date closing in on me I seemed to be expanding more rapidly I feel like I might be weighing more than a whale right now

Hmm but Hugh's still able to lift you like you weigh nothing

My subconscious mocked her every words true

Most times Hugh carried me around as if I was an immobile incapable of moving or even doing things on my own an act I deeply despised.

I reprimanded him a couple times but he still didn't listen it's almost a month after their wedding and they'd just returned from their two weeks of honeymoon Alexandra was becoming more scarce by the day I overheard them arguing about it and she'd blamed it on the honeymoon and it having to do with her not being available for two good weeks

Hugh had been confused might I say because he knew that she was given a month break for her wedding and out of it she'd only used two weeks so he just didn't get it even I don't get it but then I have no business in the matter so I choose to ignore

With my due date drawing near my pregnancy became more active the kicking most times I called it the wrestling cause it was as if there was a fight going on in my womb most of the times cause he not only kicked he threw a punch as well more often than required.

These acts were even more proof that the baby was going to be a boy but Hugh never agreed to it he said women could be very troublesome as well and that he knew his angel was just acting out something I highly doubted.

This boy was going to be more than a handful when he's born. "What are you doing...thinking of me again I presume" a voice said interrupting my thoughts the accent to it causing me to look up

"Noee" I cried out joy on my face a bit of water in my eyes "oh how I've missed you...where have you been...it seems you had forgotten about me didn't you"I said my words coming out in a rush as water dropped from my eyes

"Oh hold on one question at a time and why the hel..are you crying" he asked as he came to join me on the sofa his hands which were very soft for a guy's gently wiped away the wetness from my cheek

"It's this blasted hormones and don't you dare swear in front of the baby ever again" I scold

"Oh look at you....motherhood would most definitely fit you" he sang as he tickled me

"Noee... I giggled "oh Noeee stop" I said in between laughter as he refused to "I think I heard her say stop" a deep voice boomed as we both turned to the intruder who had a deep rooted frown on his face

"Welcome....Noee I didn't even know you were around" Hugh boomed with sarcasm dripping with every word he said

As I sat in Hugh's studio the look in his eyes hard with an intent to wound as he continued pacing the floors of his study who you may ask but it wouldn't take a genius to see me as the intended

Based on my display moments ago in the living room  my deliberate intent to annoy Hugh I was now kind of wishing I hadn't done it blame it on my mischievous side.

"Would you mind not doing that you may end up drilling a hole in the floor"I said to him no sooner had I regretted my words as he turned to face me

"Would you mind explaining to me what is it that you have going on with my surrogate" he stated

"Oh so we are back to calling her that" I chuckled

"Whatever....answer me"

"What do you think" I asked deciding to toy with him a bit the look on his face so comical I almost burst out laughing but I didn't

"I asked a question...an

"Oh Hugh...Hugh my friend.." I say tsking hoping that it wasn't what I was thinking

"Don't tell me you are jealous" I questioned

"Jealous.....why ever would I be jealous?

"Exactly.. I muttered giving him a look as I voiced out my suspicions"You like her don't you" I ask him

"Well of course should I not? He retorted

"Oh come on Hugh do not give me that bullcrap you seem to be falling for her if you already haven't"

"I'm not..." He simply said

But I wished it was as simple as that because from the earlier look of jealousy he was sporting it would seem he was falling for her only he has not even come to the realization yet
