My wedding was in a few days time and with my baby coming in a few weeks I was just overjoyed

Soon I would meet that precious being growing inside of Normani.

And just as soon she'll be leaving you

My subconscious mocked me

I didn't know what to feel to that statement I mean I have a woman whom I claim to love Heck I  was a man with a fiancée one whom I would be tying the knot with in a few days, I didn't need more complications which is something Normani isn't but the situation with her is definitely one

The girl did things to me even without her trying sometimes I found myself staring outside the window eager to catch a glimpse of her most times I find myself in the library in that couch relishing that distant memory of her as I ravaged her trying to ravel in the feel of her her soft light skin

And many times I just sat and admired her courage and love for family the background check I ran on her confirmed her earlier story giving me more details on her unfilled gaps

It was then I got to know she was the daughter of that banker who had gambled away all his property to loan sharks due to his failed investments and how her mother had sold her diner just so she could pay for her only daughter's education

I discovered early on that Normani had bought a house in her mother's name in a secluded location she'd gone to great heights to keep the place hidden

Cause I still don't know where the house is and it

Bothers you right

My subconscious mocked

No why ever would it be a bother to me

I questioned

Well because once all these is over you won't be able to find her no matter how much you try

I didn't have anything to say to that cause he was right in a way.

So as I walked into the living room to find her seated in that darn sofa her hands trying to ease away some stress from her foot soft grunts coming out from her mouth when she realized she's unable to reach her knee talk more of her foot she gives up with a frown and loud grunt of discomfort "Let me" I tell her immediately rushing to her side as I sit beside her lifting her foot onto my lap my hands massaging her right calf in small circular motions her mouth releasing soft groans of pleasure and a bit of pain

"Feeling better now" I asked later after a short moment of massaging both her feet I looked up to find her fast asleep soft snores coming out from her slightly opened lips she must have been exhausted probably have been in pains for a while but she wouldn't speak because one thing I learned about Normani was that she hated being a bother

I got up from the sofa gently placing her feet back in the sofa careful doing as not to wake her.

A week after

It was my wedding today and I didn't know how to feel. I was excited at one point but now I'm just nervous "oh my Lexi you're absolutely stunning.......
Hugh won't be able to keep his hands and eyes off you today heck no one would" Sheila squeals on entering into the room which we rented for this occasion "thank you....goodness you look so pretty to be the bridesmaid you sure you're not having a wedding of your own" I told her looking as I tried to get up from the bed to meet her

"Oh please..." she said waving me off with her hands "look who's so excited to see you" just as she said it sugar peeped from behind her "heyo"she mumbled

"Oh my my princess look at you absolutely beautiful" I said with a smile spreading my arms so she could run into them as I lowered myself to her height

"You're so pwetty..."she said instead

As I tickled her sides causing her to giggle it was something Normani usually did speaking of which "have you seen Normani anywhere...." I asked Sheila

"Nope I came here immediately I was ready...why"

"She isn't supposed to be moving around much....right" Sheila put in on second thought as I nodded my head confirming "then she'd be in the house wouldn't she"

I hoped that was where she was cause I remembered her face when Hugh had told her she couldn't come for the wedding and that she could watch it live as it was being recorded she'd looked at him like a child who'd been denied her favorite candy.

"I just hope she listens" I said out loud without meaning to "and why wouldn't she...I mean it's for her own good we've all seen how tired and  swollen her feet's are and if she continued to stand on them it would only make matters worse what with her due date drawing near she'd better stay indoors"
