I was driving to the house hoping and praying to the heavens that Hugh doesn't get home before me cause I'm so not ready to get into another fight with him.
I pressed down on the accelerator just as my phone rang it was shiela calling"hey girl"she sings as always
"Hey" I replied as I take a u-turn
"You don't sound okay....everything good"
"Argh.....I don't know girl...
"What's that Lexi you holding from me...me your girl the only one that's got your back"
"It's not like that Sheila.."
"Then tell me what it's like"she pressed
"Hugh and I got into a fight"I say with a sigh and frown

"What do you mean those weren't fight sheil we only argue"
"What's the difference now Lexi they're both the same thing"
"It's all thanks to that surrogate ever since she's come to live with us it's been one argument with Hugh or another"

"Today.. I began only to be interrupted
"Did she throw up like a whale again oh please tell me she didn't"
"Fortunately she wasn't feeling sick..but then she had to go to the doctors today and Hugh asked me to drop her off...to which I refused I mean our shoot was scheduled for today but he didn't want to listen and then we started shouting at each other and I ended up saying things I kind of wish I didn't"
"What did you say to him..." she asks
"I mean I called him names cause he said I wasn't taking this thing serious anymore and that I only cared about my career...
"What that's Low!! Even for him."Sheila exclaimed "what did you say to him after that cause if it was me"she adds with a 'tsk tsk' sound
"I told him he was being selfish as always and then I told him to f*ck off" I finished calmly
"You did...wow I didn't think you had it in you"
"Come on Sheila that's beside the point....it was wrong of me to say that.."I tell her remorseful
"Okay....my bad so what happened next"she asks
"Then he left for work without saying a word to me that was after he'd gone to check on Normani though...I think he said he'd tell the driver to drop her off and bring her back but then I said he doesn't have to worry that I'll drop her off myself and to that he left" I finished with a sigh
"Well what's the sigh for now didn't you drop her off" Sheila asks
"No....I couldn't Klein called to say they'd changed the shoot time so I thought.."
"Oh Lexi don't tell me you thought you could go and come back" she interrupts
"There's nothing wrong with trying to kill two birds with one ston.....Oh my Gosh!!
"What is it now Lexi....
"See let me call you back Sheila...oh no
"What no what's going on"
"Hugh's back sheil I gotta go" I say immediately as I drive into the house
"Alright sweetheart take it easy...good luck"she said
"Thanks cause I'll need it"
And to that I turn off the ignition and get down taking deep breath's I straightened my shoulder before walking into the house
"Alright we can go for your check up now"
I shout trying to put in as much enthusiasm into my tone, once inside I see Normani sitting like an innocent bird her arms crossed and Hugh sat next to her his arms around the sofa Noah surprisingly had his hands on her shoulder
"Well hello...her royal highness" Hugh greets with sarcasm dripping off every word as he rose to his feet his hands clapping with every step that he takes
"The one whose every word stand and others are to be thrown away.....welcome back her majesty" he says as he came to stand in front of me
"Hugh....let's not do this here...I think we can talk
"Oh now her royal highness wants to talk" he says his voice rising on every word that drops
"Hugh...Please let's go talk upstairs
"Talk? But we are talking your highness we are having a very nice conversation right here"with that he turned to face our audience "aren't we talking eh Normani..Noah" he asks with a nod
"Please don't do this...Hugh not" I didn't get to finish as the next thing I heard was a shattering sound and a scream "Hugh!!! I opened my eyes to see my favorite vase shattered on the floor an inch away from my feet
