It's been two weeks since the last meeting with Claire and the surrogate I'm sticking to calling her that to avoid too much interest.

Alexandra has been on my case over the title, every time I call her that she goes "don't do that babe...it's kind of rude besides she's a human being too"But I have remained adamant

Anyways today would officially be the first day of our baby's conception Alexandra and I had both given our, well I had given Claire my sperm which they had preserved and Alexandra would be giving one of her eggs for fertilization and then it will be inserted into Normani's womb.

As I drove to the clinic I turned to face Alexandra who seemed lost in thoughts she'd been drumming on her thighs the whole drive that I was left wondering what was going on in her mind.

I didn't know when my eyes wondered past to a lady in a maroon colored hoodie I don't know why but she reminded me so much of the surrogate,I searched for any sign or item through which I could use to recognize her but I didn't see she had her head in the hoodie her eyes covered up in big dark shades

I guess She's probably curious and excited in the whole process or maybe she didn't know what to expect as today would officially be her first meeting with The surrogate.

I didn't question her on it not till we were parked in the building parking lot "you alright?

"Huh....uh huh I'm good" she replied

"You sure" I questioned again still not convinced
"Cause you seem worried...what's bothering you?

"It's nothing" she replied

"Are you sure or does it have to do with the fact that it's your first meeting with the surrogate" I asked

"Huh......hmm I think so" she says "and I've told you not to call her that...it's rude"she adds minutes after

"Don't worry it will be fine Nor...I mean the surrogate seems capable weird but capable nor the less" I say in an effort to reassure her as her face breaks into a smile

"Oh...I'm sure she is" she replied shortly

As we both entangled hands and walked into the place oblivious to the stares that we got

Today was finally it, the day where the baby officially pops in the oven for nine months and five hundred grand actually sits in my account

I still didn't know how I felt about the whole Ordeal but yes I was doing this for the money like who wouldn't especially with my whole predicament I was planning on using part of the money to open a diner for my mum she's always wanted one ever since we had to sell off the old one to pay my education debts I made a promise to myself to get her a new one.

The contract states that immediately the baby is conceived I get half my pay the other half would come once the child is born and I'll pump out milk regularly until three months after child's birth then I leave and the contract is off

With the money coming along I could finally get myself a nice apartment leaving that junk I was staying in. It was as if I was sharing the apartment with roaches and my hatred for them cannot be overemphasized they always like to show whenever I'm taking a shower or cooking much as if they'd love to share that with me too.

So as I hurriedly got into the bus that will convey me to my location I stared out the window as so many cars zoomed past this was yet another luxury I couldn't afford

I couldn't help but admire a black sleek Mercedes soon it zoomed past the car number read klv9 something. I couldn't see the rest because I had left my contacts at home something I sincerely regret because now I have no choice but to rely on my glasses which thankfully were in my bag but for the most past I hoped I wouldn't be needing them

I immediately got off the bus at my stop and began my five minutes walk to the clinic occasionally checking my wrist to ensure I was getting there on time. I didn't want to late for more reasons than one

My first reason being that I hated being late to any event cause then you'd end up drawing unnecessary attention to yourself and then secondly it's my first time meeting with Alexandra Sullivan one of the famous Hollywood princesses and who so happened to be Hugh fiancée and the mother of the unborn child I'm about to carry.

I had only seen her a few times on the news obviously so I was a bit curious and anxious and mostly wanted to portray a good first impression of myself to her after all first impressions are everything.

I take a good long inhale of breath and let it out this always seemed to help reduce most of my anxiety
So as I let out an equally long breath I muttered a few words of encouragement to myself before making my way into the clinic.
