CHAPTER 7: CONFUSION

When Dasha arrived home and get out from Kairo's car. Nix started to question things about what happen. Bakit daw magkasama sila ni Kairo and at that hour of the day. Kaya wala siyang magawa kung di ang mag kwento na naman kung ano ang ginawa nila. Sinabi niya lang dito na kumain sila sa isang bagong bukas na restaurant.

"Really?" kinikilig na ani nito kaya siya tumigil."I was too excited sorry, then what happen next?"

"Nothing!" walang ganang sagot niya.

"Di man lang kayo nagkiss or do something intimate!"

Tumigil siya sa pagsusuklay ng buhok dahil kagagaling niya lang maligo at humarap kay Nix.

"Sorry!" pagpaumanhin nito saka ngumiti.

"You have done things that couples usually do. Eating outside and many more. What do you think it is? He likes you and you like him too!"

Hindi siya naniwala rito saka hinayaan lang ang kaibigan na magsalita at mag-isip ng kung ano-ano.

"Do you think he's too attractive?"

"Yeah! He's a good guy also!"

"I can't believe this. I didn't expect I would witness the love story of my bestfriend!"

"Stop it Nix. We're just friends!" pagdadalawang isip na sabi niya saka umupo sa kama niya.

" You said friends. Do you think he thinks the same towards you? His friend? Mark my words, after today something big might happen, maybe tomorrow?"

"Whatever it is, let it happen tomorrow. I'm sleepy." wika niya saka hinayaan ang kaibigan at humiga.

"Hindi mo pa naranasan ang ganong pakiramdam pero malalaman mo lang iyon kapag gusto mo na siyang makausap at makasama lagi. Walang araw na di mo siya naibunganga at higit sa lahat you'll feel jealous everytime you saw him with other woman! You feel like you want to see him always. Remember that."

Bigkas nito bago lumabas sa kwarto niya.

Bumuntong hininga naman siya saka inaalala ang sinabi ni Nix. She tries to connect them into Kairo but she always end up in confusion. Is Nix right? Well, hindi naman siya into that kind of feeling anyway.

"What brought you here?" nakataas ang kilay na tanong ni Dasha kay Zeke ng bigla itong sumulpot sa café at umupo sa counter.

" I have no place to stay!"

"Why? What about your house?"

"They ransacked it. My job in Mindanao was in vain and when they know about my identity they ransacked my house even broke my security defenses. It's a good thing I used a surname Cruz."

"I told you to just focus on your telecommunications business. It's safer, than doing that deadly job."

"I've been doing this for years and this never happened. I need some place to stay low."

"At? Sa akin ka lumapit? Paano kapag madamay ako niyan?"

"I'm not staying here. I'm leaving for South Korea tomorrow. I had an international job, the payment is good!"

"Really? Hindi ka talaga titigil hanggat hindi ka namamatay noh!"

"Dashing, if you love your job, you'll take risks kahit gaano pa yan ka-delikado."

"Do whatever you want! It's your life anyway!"

"I'm leaving tonight. Take care while I'm away." ani nito saka ginulo ang buhok niya.

"Will you stop messing my hair?"

"I promise I won't! Can I have a one box  of this cake?"

Kinuha naman niya ang tinuro nito na mocha cake saka nilapag sa harap nito.
