CHAPTER 17: THE LAST

Sorry if I became inactive this past few weeks  due to some personal issues in life that I can't tell. Due to per request of someone about Kairo's story. I re-read it for like countless times and I realized that the outline and flow of the story was quite lame. There's only few interaction between the main characters so I did a review and re-write the whole story. 

Himbis na aabut siya ng 40 chapters, nagiging 20+ Chapters nalang siya, the reason why I couldn't able to finish it in a short span of time because of the aforementioned issue. Some of my readers are aware of it. Still thankful for all readers who appreciates this story.

"Mommy, where are we going?" tanong ni Kyrie ng makita ang ina na nag-eempake ng mga gamit. 

Maaga palang ng magising si Dasha, she stayed quite late last night because of Kairo. Matagal din kasi itong nanatili roon bago umuwi. Napapansin naman niyang mukhang may problema ito, gusto sana niyang kulitin at alamin kung ano ang problema nito pero mas pinili niyang manahimik at hayaan nalang ito. Siguro kapag ready na itong magkuwento sa kanya saka niya malalaman.

"Ky, diba I made a promise before that we'll have a vacation once you arrived at the country?"

"Yes!"

"Kairo said he'll bring us somewhere. You'll like it." Wika niya sa anak, ngumiti naman ito saka tumulong sa ina. It was past nine in the morning when Kairo came, tinulungan sila nitong dalhin ang mga gamit nila patungo sa sasakyan nito.

"Ate, pakilagay nalang niyan sa likod." wika ni Dasha sa Yaya ni Kyrie. 

Habang nasa biyahe, ang daldal ng anak niya kapag may nakikita siya. Damien was right, Kyrie won't be too much introverted once if he'll see the outside world often. She's thankful Kairo did plan all of this. Tiningnan niya si Kairo habang nagmamaneho saka ngumiti rito. 

"What?" takang tanong nito, ngumiti lang siya saka umiling rito. 

"Kiddo, do you want to listen to a song?" tanong ni Kairo kay Kyrie mula sa rear-view mirror.

"It's quite annoying President. I prefer playing something that I can learn." sagot nito. Her son never likes listening to musics, he would prefer listening to some Q and A shows in television. 

Sa buong biyahe nila, Kairo asks questions to Kyrie. Kapag hindi naman ito nasasagot ng bata ay tinuturo ito ni Kairo sa kanya. He's an ideal type of a father, lahat na yata nasa kanya na. She can't believe the Kairo she met before who looks so strict and serious had this kind of attitude. That's why she can't help but to fall deeply in love with him over and over again.

"We're here!" wika ni Kairo ng tumigil sila sa harap ng isang malaking bahay sa tuktok ng bundok.

Lumapit naman ang Guard sa kanila ng makita nito si Kairo saka ito tumango rito at bumati saka sila pinapasok. Excited na lumabas ang anak saka inilibot ang paningin sa paligid. It was indeed a very beautiful place. Malamig ang simoy ng hangin, matatanaw mo ang malawak na dagat at mga bahay sa ibaba. Maraming mga puno ng prutas sa paligid ng malaking bahay. May lumabas naman na may katandaang babae at lumapit sa kanila.

"Magandang araw, Sir. Nakahanda na po lahat." wika nito saka tinuro sa kanila ang daan papasok.

"President, your place is so nice, I might choose to stay here often." manghang wika ng anak saka sumabay sa kanila papasok habang dala-dala ang maliit na luggage bag nito.

"It's my parents rest house. It's been five years since I last came here." usal ni Kairo. 

The interior of the house is so perfect, even the designs and furniture looks so marvelous. It was a two storey house, the ground floor consist of s wide living room and a very big android TV and next to it was a dining hall of more than twenty chairs. It was made of glass wall that you can see the view outside. Umakyat sila sa pangalawang palapag ng bahay saka mas lalong namangha sa nakikita. It was  a perfect place for sighting the view below. There's a sofa set on the living room and many rooms. Pumili naman ang anak niya ng kwarto nito saka siya pumasok rin sa isang kwarto.  Isinara niya ang pintuan ngunit bumukas din iyon ng pumasok si Kairo dala ang maleta nito.
