"How on earth did both of you let him out of your sight?!" Snapped Karl.
Jay and Jake kept their heads down.
"What troubles me is that, how did he manage to not get affected by the Crimson?-
I know he just drank a sip but still...Liquid Crimson is the most effective potion we have!" Hyuka stated.
"I give two weeks to both of you to capture him without him knowing what we are!" Retorted Karl.
"Yes"
"Yes" Murmured Jake and Jay.
Karl turned to leave but stopped.
He spun around and faced Jay.
"Oh, and don't ever bring that senile old woman if you ever were to see me," Karl said, spitefully, gesturing to Jay's grandmother at the corner of the room.
Jay had his mouth pursed.
Y/N stared dagger at her father.
Sunghoon slowly opened his eyes, the sunlight blinded him.
Someone shut the curtain, with his eyes still blurry, Sunghoon watched as the dark figure came up to him.
"Hey, you okay?" The voice asked, it belonged to Sunoo.
Sunghoon sighed in relief.
"Where are the others? Are they okay?" Sunghoon sat up.
"Yeah, they're okay," Sunoo said, peculiarly.
"Someone died last night up there at the mansion," Sunghoon said.
Sunoo eyes were wide in shock.
"What are you saying? Nobody died! You passed out next to me.
Heeseung, Jungwon, and I went home carrying you."
It's a dream, then...
Sunghoon thought.
"You're quite heavy though" Sunoo joked.
Sunghoon grinned.
But it felt so real...
Sunoo stood up suddenly.
"I'm going to school, you should rest up!"
"mmm" Sunghoon mumbled and leaned backward.
His eyes drifted to his end table, his phone was on top of it.
Sunghoon snatched it up and turn it on, his muscles went rigid.

The day after Sunghoon went to school.
He could not be sure what he was feeling, yet he sensed something are off.

None of his classmates notices him when he went to take his seat, Y/N was busy scribbling something in her notebook next to him.
The whole classroom went silent when a boy with sandy blonde hair waltz in.
Listening to his headphone.
"That's the new kid" Sunghoon heard a girl say to her friend.
Y/N lifted her head to see and quickly got back to her scribbling.
"Nishimura Riki is his name, I heard," The friend said.
The boy sat at an empty desk and played with his phone.
During the 2nd period, physical education. Sunghoon changed to his sports attire. And went to join the others running laps.
The kid was left alone at the bleachers, Sunghoon saw Jungwon ran to him and asked him if he wants to join them.
The new kid joined the laps, one by one, of their classmates, ran off to the bleachers, where the sun did not shine.
Leaving only Sunghoon and the new kid finishing the third lap.
"Why did you guys stop?" Sunghoon asked Sunoo , Heeseung, and Jungwon.
"We partied so hard last night, still tired from all the dancing," Heeseung said.
Sunghoon nodded. Then realization kicked in.
Wait! That party was one day before! I was absent yesterday!
Sunghoon remembered.
He gazed at his friends.
