Long nails drummed against the renaissance luxury table.

"Y/N stop that" Instructed her father, Y/N rolled her eyes.

His hand brushed against a piece of picture.

A picture of Sunghoon, the person the Fallen Angel had wanted terribly.

The clan had moved many times before, yet wherever they are.

Romania, England or anywhere they went.

They could not feel the presence of strongness that Memoria's peak had.

It was because of the Purple Gem that was somewhere hidden in the town of Munyeong.

They were tied to this place, the place that started all of them.

For many years, the clan had searched for the Purple gem, yet to no avail.

Now, like a miracle, they found the descendant of the traitor.

Karl nor the other young vampires noticed.

The Fallen Angel was swift to notice.

A descendant of the one that stole the Purple gem and massacred half of the clan with some humans in 1999.

As the clan had made a wellness centre as a veil to cover the truth that they are blood-sucking creatures during that time.

Karl turned to glare at the traitor.

Mrs Park quivered in fear, inside a cage at the corner of the room.

Heeseung, Jungwon and Sunoo walked slowly to the centre of the dining room.

"Thank you to all of you for helping, and let us know pieces of information of that son of a traitor," Karl said, smiling ear to ear.

Jungwon tried not to look at his fangs, he had gawked at his fangs countless times.

"Now-" Karl's long slender fingers opened a wooden box and brought out a gold key.

"Vault 4, 10 gallons of blood, you guys can have it," Karl said, referring to one of the underground vaults the clans had.

Storing human blood that they collect from their captured humans in the dungeon next to the vaults.

Three of the boys bowed to Karl and silently walked away.

As they were out of earshot, Heeseung said.

"We got rewards for betraying our close friend, I need that blood, I'm thirsty, but....it doesn't feel right"

"I feel the same way"

Sunoo agreed.

"Look, I can't bring myself to betray Sunghoon anymore, let alone to kill him," Jungwon said.

"We should think of something" Heeseung muttered.

In the long corridor, they were in, filled with doors left and right.

One door slammed open.

Jay ran out, in his arms, was his grandmother, white bubbles dripping out of her mouth.

Heeseung and the others stood frozen.

Jay was frantic, the look in his eyes filled with desperations.

Jungwon could see he had cried.

"CALL DR.MONTGOMERY! NOW!" Jay yelled to the boys.

Jungwon and Sunoo scurried to find help.

Heeseung hesitantly stepped closer to Jay and his grandmother.

Jay's knees gave up, and dropped to the floor, sobbing quietly.

To Heeseung, Jay was always the sarcastic, cold and nonchalant type of person.

At that time, Heeseung had discovered Jay's weakness.

Eyes observing the old woman.

Heeseung spoke up.

"Did she drink or eat anything earlier?"

"Why do you care, get lost" Jay muttered.

Heeseung kneed before Jay.

"This is the odour of rat's poison, I'm smelling," Heeseung said.

Jay lifted his head in shock.

"What?! You're saying someone put rat poison in her drink!" Jay snapped.

"I can confirm it if I sniff the drink she had"

Heeseung watched as Jay's exasperated expression changed to anger.

"She drank her usual tea earlier, inside the potion room"

Heeseung nodded and got up and went to the potion room.

Sunoo and Jungwon along with a bearded doctor came running.

That time, Jay wiped the excessive bubbles on his grandmother's chin with the sleeve of his sweatshirt.

Heeseung walked out and the boys' eyes met.

Dr Montgomery reached Jay.

Checking his grandmother.

"She had a seizure, let's bring her to the left-wing," He said to Sunoo and Jungwon.

Jay glared at the doctor and looked up at Heeseung.

Heeseung nodded and mouthed.

Rat Poison.
