Ellie's POV
We started discussing the deal, and now i am more comfortable because Mr. Guisseppe is finally here. I have so much respect for him.
"Ellie, i hope you can work with me again, we can adjust according to your wishes. You have always the final say on the terms of our agreement" Mr. Guisseppe said while offering me a friendly smile
"Well I am really honored that you have been so persistent in pitching me for this project. As much as i would like to have a collaboration with you, but I am really finding hard to squeeze my tight schedule as it is to add another responsibility." I said with an apologetic smile.
"Well, that's bad. But I do respect your wishes, as i have said earlier." Mr Guisseppe said
then a small voice suddenly shouted
"Granpaaaaaa!" we all looked at the direction where the voice came from. It is from my little angel Kayla
I heard Mr. Guisseppe laugh and picked up Kayla who is running towards him.
"Hi my little angel, did you have fun eating all those blueberry cheesecakes i baked just for you?"
"Mh-hm!" She said cheekily
"Ha-ha! This old man is happy that i could make a little angel smile " Mr . Guisseppe said
" I am really very sorry Mr. Guissepe for Kayla's interruption" I said
" oh no dear, don't be sorry! I missed the little ones also" He said and looked at Kayla " Where is your brother?" He then asked her
Kayla whispered somethin to Mr. Guiseppe and He looked shocked
"Really?! What a clever boy! Hahahah" and Mr. Guiseppe hurriedly went and waled towards the direction where Kayla was pulling him, and i also went with them because I am so curious of what happened.
Kayla led us to the garden and there i saw Craig and Kaleb sat across from each other, focusing on the table where the chess set has been laid, then before we can comepletely come to them, i saw Kaleb stand and smirked while pointing at Craig " Well,? Checkmate! Better be true to your Word!" and he walked coolly towards our direction.
"What did i tell you Granpa G? Three strikes and He's out!" Kaleb confidently said to Mr. Guisseppe
and as if on cue Kayla suddenly said
"Bye-Bye Mister!" and waived her hands in the air. Gesturing "bye bye" to craig
and i heard Mr. Guissepe chuckling again and patting proudly the heads of the twins " Good job guys! You surprised me!"
What in the world is happening?? I am so confused.
