Chapter Fourteen : The Announcement and the unexpected

Elliot's Pov

I saw all of that happening in front of my eyes. I knew Ellie was very angry when she stood at the entrance while expecting Shawn to deliver her the kids, but instead it was Kayden

But the moment we saw that the kids are so happy, we couldnt find anymore the guilt. I knew the kids deserved to be happy to finally be able to meet their dad and bond with him even if they don't know his real identity. But the bond between them and the smile in their faces  speaks it all.

They were bound by their blood instincts

I knew Ellie felt the same as I caught her wipe her tears.

We saw how unknowingly the kids brought their family together. Saya and I just stood there in a daze, watching the happy family spinning around

I can't help but tear up also, i heard the girl beside me sniffing.

"Geez saya ,we were worried for nothing. Even if Ellie will be mad at us. So what, we just cant deny that happy little faces we see cant we? They're perfect. Cmon" i ushered saya still sniffing to come inside and let the family bond when we heard a report shout

Then the family was in a daze and they panicked so they all ran to Kayden's car

I hope there's a good outcome in this

I returned to my office and glanced at the clock. I think its time for Nana and I to prepare for tonight's event

I was gonna call Nana when my assistant came over without knocking

"sir amiels! We have another VIP guest coming!!!" Miss Carols cant help but whimper

"Calm down, who is it this time?" I asked her

"Th-they are the Blanchard Family!" She said

What?! Blanchard? Didnt the eldest daughter of the family an apprentice of my sister? But i suppose theyre still counted as VIP's

"Okay. I think we should ask Kayden first if he's willing to share the VIP floor to them. I think their families are well acquainted" i told Miss Carols

I tried to call kayden but he wont answer. I tried to call Ellie but she's not answering. What do i do??

It's a very strict rule in my company to break contracts, and allowing the blanchard's to share the same floor with Kayden will be breaching of contract. Wait...

Unless..He would be....moving in the VIP penthouse where Ellie and his kids are living..

I think he wont mind. I am sure he will not mind.

Ellie's POV

As we were all dressed and were heading back to the Crystal Palace Hotel for the banquet, i saw two missed calls from Elliot,

And when i was about to ring him back Kayden's phone rang

"Hello Elliot?" He asked

Suddenly his eyebrows twitched, but it was just for a second then his favial expression went blank again

He just replied with "mm" and "oh"

Then the call ended

"What was that? Im just curious. Elliot also called me" i said defensively

"Mm. Nothing.slight arrangements" he said and i knew in his face he doesn want further talks

So i just went again on my quiet self admiring the night view in the windows.

When we were at the gates, we saw so much reporters

We can see some figures walking down on their luxurious cars and stepping into the red carpet the hotel has placed near the entrance doors stretched out til the point of the banquet hall doors.
