Chapter Eleven : I like him, we like him

Ellie's Pov

I glanced at the wall clock in the kitchen and i saw that it's already 5 in the afternoon

I finished the plating on the last menu and removed my apron and chef hat

"That's all for today team! Thank you for your hardwork!" I shouted and everybody applauded

I heard some praises

"Wow, seemed like Sir Elliot is telling the truth. She's really a fantastic top class chef!"

"Yeah, i heard she manages a five star restaurant with seven branches worldwide, now that's really something" the cook with the blonde hair said

"I know right? Like, who are we kidding? We all know that five star restaurants should serve their meal as fast as they can because the customers dining are almost vip's, and vip's hated waiting." The cook beside him said

" yeah, but look at how good she is, we are expecting that we finish all the menus at 7 in the evening, just 30 minutes before the banquet , but she just finished all the menus by 5pm!" Another joined the group of cooks praising me

"Now now guys, I'm so flattered by all those praises but it's just me, It was also because all of you had patience to teach me and direct me where are the utensils located, and also you cooperated with me. This is a teammwork. I can't do this anything alone" i smiled at them

" she's not just a top class chef, her beauty is top class also, and her attitude. Oh god, i wish she's not yet taken, I'll make her date my son" an old cook said

And i chuckled at that

"Stop it. She already has kids, so ofcourse she's married" the cook beside the old cook responded

Wooops. Better be outta here before they start interviewing me

"Okay fellas, I'm out. I miss my two little munchkins so muuuch!" I said as i wave at them and exited the kitchen

I passed by the banquet hall and i saw that it is really beautiful

Oh! Right, that, I forgot that the event tonight is formal

Might as well ask Elliot if i could leave early since my work is done. So that I could buy some formal clothes

I pressed the elevator button to the floor where Elliot's office is located

The elevator opened and I saw Saya busy texting

I smiled, I bet she's texting Shawn again, atleast there's a progress between them

"Saya!" I called her

She looked at me and her eyes widened in shock

I furrowed my eyebrows

"What's that look Saya? It's as if you've seen a ghost" i chuckled as i said that to her

"A-ah? Eh. No! You silly. I was just shock why are you here?" She said raising an eyebrow

"I just finished my work, i wanted to ask Elliot if i could leave the kitchen early so that i could buy some formal clothes, for me and for the two munchkins" and after i said that her eyes widened again

Seriously, what's wrong with her?

I glanced at my back. No one

"Oh! Yeah! Yeah! I realized i forgot something to pick up. I'm so sorry ellie! We'll talk later!Bye!" And after that she ran as if someones chasing her

What's wrong with Saya? She's really acting weird
