Kayden's POV
after what happened at the golf clubhouse, we all went back to the Pierre Estate
Ellie was still fuming mad
" Daddyy..i think mums mad at you" Kaleb whispered to me
" Me too daddy, i think mums mad at you" Kayla seconds the motion
ah. this kids. after being the mastermind of this plan they're making me a scapegoat.
"shh.. let's talk later.. for now, help daddy deal with mum" i whispered back to them
" You.three" Ellie called us out
We three looked at each others eyes or better yet the twins gave me with a "goodluck explaining to mom daddy" look.
" now explain" Ellie said
" well..." uhhh.. where am i again?
" the kids are hungry.. you guys are hungry right?" i jokingly said and looked back at the twins
Kayla cutely gestured "no" with her head
and Kaleb faced palm and mouthed at me " it wont work dad"
" Kayden. let's talk, kids go to your room and you should not go out unless i say so" Ellie said firmly
the twins immediately went upstairs and when they were halfway they looked back again at me with apologetic smiles and gave me a thumbs up
i want to laugh because of their cuteness but let out a smirk instead cause i know someone's gonna smack me in the face if i laughed
" hey mister. now that we are alone. care to explain?" Ellie raised one of her eyebrows and crossed her arms
i stood up and moved closer to her
" i think there are more fun things to do when we're alone besides talking?" i raised my eyebrows jokingly
" You better be serious Kayden Pierre" She said while pointing at me
ahhh.i miss her nagging ... and when she nags me, she always calls me by my complete name.
" Im always serious.. especially if it's about you" i inched closer again
she did not respond but counted "1" in her fingers
uh-oh here goes her famous countdown
it reminds me of when we were still lovers
Ellie would always give me a chance to explain and counts 1-5 with her hand to give me five chances to speak
the only time i let her finished the countdown is when we broke up...
that was the only time...
and the last one...
and now... i could not believe that she's giving me that " countdown" again
" hey. thats two" and she counted two
i kept quiet and i just stared at her
three.... she went on with her countdown
now her eyebrows furrowed
four.....
she was about to say something when i finished it for her
" five" i said
and pulled her closer and kissed her
