Chapter Nine: Operation Bonding

Kayden's Pov

"Ginny, i want all of my appointments cancelled today, except the one at the banquet hall" i told Ginny as i had other plans today

And that is to bond with my twins

I know Ellie won't allow me, but I had something in my mind

"Also Ginny prepare those reporters that kept pestering us yesterday, alert them that they're all invited in the banquet hall but they need to be here at around 1 in the afternoon" after  I said that Ginny raised an eyebrow suspiciously and asked

" what are you gonna do this afternoon?" He asked

"Nothing" i said with a cold expression on my face

"Okay." He told me and left

I looked at the piece of paper in my table

This is Ellie's schedule. She would be busy whole afternoon, that's why it's the perfect time for my plan

I opened my laptop and browse any nearby cafes to the mall that sells blueberry cheesecake. I found seven of them, but the nearest one is a cafe named "Bluey Cafe". I clicked the link and it lead me to the cafe's official page

I dialled on my phone the numbers attached and it was connected

"Hello dear customers, this is Bluey Cafe how may we help you?" A what seems like old woman answered the phone

"I would like to reserve the whole place this afternoon" i said nonchalantly

I heard the old lady gasped

"Um, may i know who's calling sir ,and what kind of deal do we have?" She asked politely

" I am Mr. Pierre and i would like to rent the whole cafe for the whole afternoon , name your price" i told her again

"S-sir, you have to understand this is just a small cafe so we are only having an income of a 5 digits something dollars" she said hesitating whether I'm real or not

"Okay. I'll have my assistant deliver you the check after 10 minutes " and before i ended the call i remembered something " and bake as much  blueberry cheesecakes you can, and i want all the menus be available, also prepare a couch, that's all" and i waited for the old lady to hang up because it's rude if i was the one to hang up

"O-okay sir. Thank you" and she hung up

I dialled Ginny's number

"Ginny, i'll leave a cheque in my drawer, please get it and pay it to the Cafe owner named Bluey Cafe near the Power P Mall" and i hung up

Now for my plan

It's one in the afternoon and as expected, there are swarm of reporters waiting in the lobby

I'm in the upper level lobby, so I can see all that's happening downstairs

I saw Ellie, with that lady last night. Then I finally saw my son Kaleb, but his hands are intertwined with a little girl that looks so much like Ellie

I smiled, so that's Kayla

I chuckled when i saw kayla eating blueberry cheesecakes. Yes, with an S she has one on her left hand and between her arms there's a plastic that's tucked which i assume are blueberry cheesecakes. Kaleb is also holding on his free hand a plastic bag, which i assume again is full of blueberry cheesecakes

My twins are adorable

Ellie really did a good job

Ellie kneeled down and spread her hands and the two little ones came to her and hugged her. Ellie was talking to them and they are nodding then Ellie kissed their foreheads, and they kissed Ellie on her cheeks in unison, Kaleb on her left cheek and Kayla on her right cheek
