Chapter Eight : You are the best

Kayden Pierre's Pov

I can hear their hurried footsteps as they approach my office. They better be.

"C-Ceo pierre, Sorry I--" i cut him off

"No need" i said and stood up walking towards the door and before i leave i glanced at him at his knees "the deal is off" and walked towards the elevator pushed the button and went to the rooftop and entered the private plane

"How many hours til we arrive?" I asked Ginny who's my personal assistant and a close friend of mine

"An hour" he replied

"Okay. Don't bother me, I'll sleep" i said and waved to signal him to leave

I felt someone tugging me, i opened my eyes and glared at him. It was Ginny

"Uh. We need to go, we're here" he told me

I nodded slightly in a bad mood

We drove an hour to reach Crysyal Palace Hotel, outside the car i saw a swarm of reporters

"Tsk. Get them out of my way" and Ginny called the other men to surround me while i walk inside the hotel

I walked not minding the reporters' questions and when i entered i saw a little boy standing near the front desk

When he looked at me i was surprised

He looked a lot like me when i was little

"Kayden, your dad is calling" Ginny called but i didnt look a him, instead i stared at the two pair of brown eyes that's looking up to me and Ginny followed my gaze

He gasped

"Who's child is this? Who looks just like you!" Ginny said in disbelief

We were at a staring contest. Those brown eyes. Those beautiful brown eyes, they reminded me of someone.

Ive never seen those exact beautiful brown eyes in anyone. Those are hers.

I grabbed the kid and carried him as i saw that the reporters are rushing to come in

"Kid are you lost?" I asked him

He just looked at me with a cold expression on his face, the same cold expression i was wearing when i was young

My heart beats fast

"Boy, what's your name?" I was surprised by the gentle voice on my tone. Even Ginny yelped

I cant help it. This boy makes me feel warm

"Kaleb" he suddenly said with a smile, and he has the exact dimples as i had

" oh f-cking Kayden, did you had one night stand?! THIS KID IS LIKE YOUR SON! THE EVIDENCE IS SO CLEAR!" Ginny said

I covered the boys ears just in time

"Language" i glared at Ginny and he shut up

Well there's one way to find out

I hugged the boy at the same time carried him until we reached the floor i was supposed to stay

I signalled Ginny to open the room door for me and I placed the boy to the couch

"Kaleb, what's your full name?" I asked

But he frowned

"I'm hungry" he replied to me

Ginny looked at me like he's telling "that frown is very much likely yours too!" But i glared at him so he didnt dare to open his mouth
