Chapter Twenty Six: The Plan

Third Person POV

Kaleb led Mr.Craig to the restroom

Craig had been waiting for an opportunity to talk to Ellie's kids alone assuming that he could win the hearts of the kids to easily win the heart of their mom.

but boy, that was his first mistake.. he did not know that Kaleb and Kayla are not average kids their age.

" Kaleb, if you ever have problems in school..just call me okay" Mr. Craig said with a friendly smile

Kaleb looked at him, eyes starring cold daggers

Mr.Craig gulped but immediately regained composure

ah! this kid inherited too much of that b--strds genes! for a second it's as if that Kayden was looking at me with murderous eyes.

" Well.. Mr..Craig, if you are really that willing to help.. actually, there is one thing i need you to do for me." Kaleb said without looking at him before entering the restroom

" uhuh.. and what is that, tell me anything!" Craig confidently replied with a little bit of excitement on his tone, thinking that it was a lot easier than he thought.

He thought that it would be difficult to break through the walls of Kaleb, so he was planning to approach Kayla first..but when this opportunity arose, he immediately grabbed it, hoping that he could become even just be little closer to Kaleb.

there was silence for little while...

then Kaleb spoke

" Well, you see Mr. Craig, as what you've said earlier, Dad is a busy man, hence he seldom plays with us.." the child paused

excitement was bubbling in Simon Craig's heart..he was thinking

ohoo..this is his opportunity.

" sooo.. if it's okay with you.. Mr. craig, i would like to ask you to play with me first before we come back at the dining area?" Kaleb asked the man while opening the restroom door

" Sure! I would love to do that!" Simon said withouth the effort of hiding his excitement anymore

" Good then, let's go to the garden.. we'll play there" and Kaleb completely turned his back to the man

unbeknown to the man, the moment he agreed to the child was the moment he also willingly jumped down to his downfall.

Kayden's POV

It's been almost 30 minutes since Kaleb and Simon went to the restroom

" It's taking them long to come back, i'll check on them" i said while gesturing to leave

" wait daddy! lemme comee tooo" Kayla said pouting

i smiled and gestured her to come to me

" Sure darling, let's go" and i looked at Ellie asking for her approval through my eyes she nodded

" then, we shall be back"

after having walked several steps away from the dining are Kayla asked me " Dad, did you think Kaleb succeeded?"

i patted her head " Of course dear, after all your brother comes after me" i smiled at her

" yeah dad. you two are smart ass" she said jokingly, i pinched her nose

" now then honey, dad's gotta do his part also, now will you be a good girl and just wait for daddy here?" i asked her while putting her on the large couch in the reception area

" okay daddy!" she said obediently and went on focusing on eating another piece of her blueberry cheesecake

i walked few steps away from my daughter to make a call

after a ring, the other line picked up

" Hello." i said

" Sir, we've got everything ready. We just need your signal to release it." my men on the other line said

" Wait for my next call." then i hunged up

i smirked. You conceited bstrd what made you think you can win against me..

i walked again to Kayla and picked her up. now it's time for us to go to the garden where Kaleb is completely humiliating Simon with his chess game abilities.

as we arrived at the garden, i could clearly see Simon getting impatient and the mocking expression on Kaleb's face

i signalled Kayla to go back and do her task, and that is to bring Ellie and Uncle Guiseppe here to witness how a " Simon Craig" shows his true colors.
