I was so confused as to what was happening, all i know was that Kaleb is now pressuring Simon to utter something, and that Simon was getting impatient

I interferred now

" Kaleb, what's going on?" i asked my not so little boy

" Mom, this man said that if i need help, he would helped me.. so i asked him to play chess since i was bored. But to make the game more exciting, we tried to make a bet. Whoever loses grants the wish of the person. I won, but i did not expect Mr.Craig to back away like a coward."

" Hold your horses little brat!" Simon shouted

i furrowed my brows and looked sharply at Simon

" who are you calling brat?" i hissed at him and hugged Kaleb

Kayden stepped forward

" You know what Simon, believe it or not my son defeated you, because He takes after me" he provoked

" hey.." i nudged Kayden

what is this guy doing adding fuel to the fire

" Hah! Mr. Pierre ,He really takes after you, no wonder this brat has no manners"

I was angry at this point, who is Simon referring to as a "brat that has no manners?!" my Kaleb?!

" Hey Simon, watch your mouth. I did not expect anything great from you at the very beginning,but i did not think you would stoop this low, really?? Making a bet with a kid?! What is this bet all about anyway!" i shouted

i am fuming mad!

" Well, ya know mum. this guy right here is so ambitious as to be my "step dad" so he told me that if he wins, i would acknowledge him as my step dad.. so i told him if he loses, he would get lost and never get near you within 5 meter radius." Kaleb said coolly

i could not believe what i was hearing. He will be a what?! My children soon to be step dad? in his dreams!

" Hoho. i did not expect for you to dream this big, afterall.. in your level" Kayden looked at him from head to toe

ughhh. this man is not helping either

" Well.. atleast, i was not a jerk and did not leave ellie raising two kids alone!" Simon retorted

I saw a pang of guilt but more on pain and rage in Kayden's eyes

" You.better.watch.the.news" Kayden said word for word

"Hah?! What news are you talkin about" Simon said

" About this.." Mr. Guiseppe stepped forward and showed an article that was published 20 mins ago

it states that.. Craig has been to shady dealings..

" wh--what.. h-how did this.. YOU!" simon charged at Kayden at a speed

Kayden pounced on Simon and punched him which has knocked Simon immediately

" You better know who you're against with before fighting against them. You will never win" Kayden said while standing up

"Dadddyyy!" the twins both exclaimed and ran towards their dad

" Daddy, are you okay? That bad man deserves it!" Kayla exclaimed.. " here daddyy, i'll give you a blueberry cheesecake.. but just one 'kay?" and extended her little arms towards kayden with the blueberry cheesecake on top of her palms

" hmmm. yes my sweet, im okay, afterall i have you and your brother.. and..", Kayden looked at me with a longing smile

i avoided his gaze

" Uhmmm. well then, i think we should wrap this up.." i looked at Mr. Guiseppe

" call security and get this bastard out of this place" Mr.Guisseppe said to his secretary
