The Sins of My Caretaker
I'm woke up by Mandy kissing my cheek.
I lift up my head and look at her. "What time is it?"
"Sex o' clock." Mandy smiles. "Quick, before Carl gets back."
"No, I can't." I tell her as she gets on my bed.
"I'm sleeping." Ian grumbles.
"I gotta help Carl set up for daycare." I get out of bed.
"I thought that was Debbie's job?" She asks as I get dressed.
"She's going to the pool today." I tell her.
"Will you guys be quiet, we're still sleeping." Lip now complains.
"What are your plans for today?" Mandy asks.
"Have to help Kevin with the truck, Lip can't do it today." I say to her.
"I was thinking that we should take Molly to the beach before all the weekend meatheads decend." Mandy smiles.
"Uh, sorry, I don't think I have any time. I just remembered that I promised to do something with Carl." I lie.
"For fucks sake, other people exist." Lip and Ian both walk out of the room.
Fiona then walks into the room.
"How long do you plan on keeping Molly around?" Fiona asks.
"Till we find someone to take him in." Mandy tells her.
"Are you looking?" She asks.
"Yeah." I answer.
"Good. Might as well tell him he's a he while you're at it." Fiona says before walking downstairs, me following her.
"Hey, Morgan, can you feed Liam for me?" Carl asks.
"Why can't you do it?" I ask.
"Cancer." He says.
"Carl, you don't have cancer, move over." I take his seat and start feeding Liam.
"That's a really pretty dress." Debbie says to Molly.
Molly smiles. "It's hides my girl penis. Mom said it's impolite to show off my bulge."
"Everyone get down here!" Fiona shouts upstairs.
Ian, Lip and Mandy all come downstairs.
"Okay listen up, Gallaghers, and Milkovichs." Fiona adds. "They're digging up the sewer main in a few days and shutting the water off. So we need to do laundry and dishes beforehand."
"What about toilets?" Jimmy asks.
"I guess we just won't flush that day." Fiona says.
"We could fill up buckets." Lip suggests.
"Gross." Debbie says as Mandy sits down beside me.
