Dream POV

It's been 2 days since we'd all gone to the Nether Dimension. That trip had changed us all, permanently. We'd never be the same after the adventure. I'd played Minecraft for years but actually living it as our reality, it was totally different. The way the game worked, how damage was dealt with, food and hunger, skills. Everything was different.

2 days that Y/N still hadn't woken up...

I woke up with a quite a start this morning, I'm not sure why. Maybe the weather? Still protected by my bedsheets, I could hear the weather outside. The raindrops pattering against my window, collecting and forming small puddles on my window ledge. The wind outside was blowing a gale, the trees dancing happily despite the storm, and leaves letting go from the trees to fly through the sky. Against the horizon, clouds rapidly rolling in like the waves of a tsunami. The weather really reflected my mood, well everyone's mood. Miserable.

I groggily made my way downstairs to be met with George and Sapnap sat in silence at the kitchen table. "Morning" Sap softly smiled, "Good morning, is Techno up yet?" I quietly replied, taking a seat next to George. Sap just shook his head and went back into silence. "Want any breakfast?" I asked both the boys. "Yeah sure, what's cooking?" George replied, perking up a tad. "bacon and eggs" I turned round a smiled.

I lifted myself off my seat at the table and made my way to the fridge to retrieve my ingredients for breakfast. "Sure you don't want any Sap?" I asked curiously as to why he wasn't having breakfast. He loves breakfast, especially bacon and eggs "Go on then, I can't say no to your cooking Dream" Sapnap cheekily smiled.

The kitchen was dimly lit, except for the spotlights under the cabinets against the wall. The miserable weather outside blocked out the sun, creating a dull atmosphere - which echoed through our house. It wasn't worth turning on an overhead light, I could see what I was doing and if I'm honest it was calming having being in a dimly lit and quiet room.

"I wonder when Y/N will wake up" George said whilst twiddling his thumbs. "I'm not sure George, we just need to be optimistic and hope she'll wake up." I over heard Sapnap speak gently to George. I turned to face both boys sat at the kitchen table "Come on guys, Y/N's a fighter! She'll wake up" I said in a more positive tone to try and boost George's morale.

----------TIME SKIP----------

I served up breakfast for George, Sap and I and we began to eat in a comfortable silence. No awkwardness, just three friends all sat enjoying each other's company.

The silence broke as Techno walked down the stairs, his feet patting rhythmically against the wooden steps until he reached the last step. "Good morning Techno" I spoke only to receive a nod in acknowledgement. "How's Y/N?" Sap asked as Techno walked over to the fridge. Without turning his head he replied simply "She's still not awake, alive but not yet awake". There felt an ounce of sorrow in his voice but it was cleverly masked with a monotone and emotionless cover.

He grabbed a carrot and joined us at the table, once again returning to silence. "So what's the plan for today?" Techno asked seemingly curious. "Well I figured that George and I could work on brewing some potions, considering we've got Nether wart and Blaze rods. Sap it would be real helpful if you could fix the front door as it's a bit inconvenient inviting the hostile mobs into our house at night. And Techno, I'd be happy if you wanted to join us in making potions or if you have any other plans?" I smiled as I formulated a quick plan for the day.

"Ehh, I'm not fantastic at making potions so I'll go and collect some wood and minerals from the mine. Just keep an eye on Y/N while I'm out." and with that Techno picked himself up off his seat and out the front door. "He doesn't seem good" George said, his voice slightly laced with concern for Techno.
