CHAPTER FOUR,
COMPLEXITY OF POWER

The Symbol of Peace sat, in his skinny form with his elbows resting on his knees. After exposing the secret to Midoriya he wasted to time to go speak with her. An apologetic expression casted on his features.  "So now," He began. "All I ask now is that you keep an eye of Young Midoriya, give him a few pointer ups, advice. His body has still not adjusted since he-"

The teen finished. "He was born without a quirk, I know." Staring icily at the hero across from her. The same one who she once thought of as an icon, a pillar who she would once replace.

"If anyone understands how complex this power really is, it's you and me." Sapphire eyes held a mixed emotion of guilt and doubt. This wasn't a conversation he'd thought he would have some day. Yagi thought the child before him would be the one to inherit his power some day. A child whom he loved as if she were his own, raising her with the impression of becoming the next Symbol of Peace."It's fine if you say no to my favor, I understand how you feel...and once again, I'm sorry."

'you got that right.'

A stoic looking man with large black wings, sat next to the (H/C) haired teen. Wearing a face full of thought as he contemplated. Smacking his lips, he asked. "Will this benefit her situation with the Hero Public Safety Commission?"

"Well, not everyone knows about this Rin." Toshinori admitted, a nervous laugh right after. "But, if you want I could say that I have a student who's working as a sidekick for me. That could loosen the hold they have on (Y/N)."

'That's it? Where's my apology?'

Rin nodded. "That's enough for now.." The winged hero clasped his hands and stood up. "Is that all, or could I offer you something...maybe have it delivered, I haven't gone grocery shopping in a minute.

All Might waved his hands as he too stood up. "No, no! That was all I had to say. I've actually got to get a few things done before tomorrow. You know, a big day ahead of us."

The underground hero nodded in affirmation, then proceeded to walk All Might to the door.

The teen with glasses didn't follow them, instead she sat with a grim expression. 'That's all...' The door shut, and as she heard the sound of slippers slide upon the wooden floors, she listened as her father began.

"That went well, didn't it."

"An apology would've been better..."

"(Y/N)." He pinched the bridge of his nose, while his other hand rested on his hip. "You're upset, I get it. You're no longer the successor of All Might,  now let's thing of the future. That's what matters now." Rin sighed. "This is a chance to right your wrongs, redeem the fact that the Hero Public Safety Commission has you on surveillance. Its a step closer to your name being cleared."

The teen with the crescent moon on her forehead, narrowed her eyes at his words. He was right, she should get past this. But it hurt to be replaced so easily. Especially by someone so close to her.

"You're right." She sarcastically remarked, hands crossed over her chest. "I've done everything I could, and still nothing has changed. I'm stuck with them till who knows when."

"Who's idea was to go out and pretend to be a hero illegally?" Rin pointed out, furrowing his brows. "Be grateful you're not behind bars."

"I saved those people. "It's not my fault they didn't appreciate my help." She outlined, nostrils flaring. Stupid morons didn't know what she sacrificed for their pathetic lives. They just didn't know.
