Epilogue

"All hail the queen!" 

"All hail to the rightful queen of the empire!" 

The queen lift her head high with pride as she watched the people cheering her from the grand parade of her 10th year anniversary as the queen. She watched her own reflection in the golden scepter she's holding. Her eyes landed on the crown above her head. 

It felt heavy, not because it was made of gold and finest gems in the entire continent, but because of the weight of her responsibility as a ruler. She have no knowledge how to become a leader, nor lead an entire empire to greatness and prosperity. 

But with all these people chanting and praising her name, their hopes for a better future and faith for their land, one thing is for sure. She will do her best to give them peace and unity, and she does not dismay. 

Her reign gave people happiness and contentment. There were no longer slaves all through out the empire, no one live in the slums or in a secluded place in the forests due to poverty. Everyone had their own hut, share of silvers to use in their daily lives, there were no thieves or bandits anymore.

"May the God of Light and Darkness continue to bless our land!" The little girls started to giggle as they raise their hands to shower the ground with flower petals. 

A parade once every year was a tradition to celebrate the anniversary of her coronation, and she was heading back to the castle to rest. However, swarms of people were on the streets. The carriage was not able to move fast enough because the people wanted to see the queen to greet and thank her.

She nods her head and smiled at them genuinely. The people had so much love and respect for her. Their loyalty was even more commendable. They finally had the life they deserved.

Matapos ng ilang minuto ay nakarating na rin sa wakas ang kalesa sa tarangkahan ng palasyo. The gate knights bowed their heads when the queen's carriage entered. Huminto ang kalesa nang makarating ito sa tapat ng hardin. The queen opened the carriage door and gracefully walked down with the aid of the horseman. 

Akmang aakyat na ng hagdan upang pumasok sa palasyo ang reyna nang makarinig ito ng malakas na pagsabog mula sa hardin. She turned her head towards the direction of the huge explosion. Imbis pumasok sa palasyo ay sinundan niya ang pinagmulan ng pagsabog na iyon.

"Reese! How many times did I told you not to make any explosive potions!" 

"It wasn't supposed to explode! Sabi ko limang pirasong petals lang ilagay mo hindi isang garapon!" Rinig niyang reklamo ng isang batang babae sa kausap nito. 

"Bobo ka kasi!" dag-dag pa nito. Mahinang natawa ang reyna nang marinig ang naiinis na wika nito. 

"Kung hindi ka lang tala-" 

"What's going on here?" When the queen revealed her presence, both of them widened their eyes in shock. 

"M-mother!" 

"Your Highness!" 

"It wasn't me! It was Uncle Flynn! He put too much rose petals! I swear I-" 

"You little-" 

"Malaki na ako! Palibhasa matanda ka lang!" Flynn rolled his eyes and grimaced. He badly want to put the child in the sack and throw it in the river if he can.

"Now, now, what did I told you about explosions inside the palace?" Napayuko naman ang bata.

"Explosions can hurt people." Kung kaniya'y sobrang tapang nito'y ngayon naman ay para itong isang maamong tuta. 

"Be careful next time, okay?" Tumango naman ang batang babae. She throw her hands happily in the air as the petals of flower fell from her hands down the pot.
